During Winter Crisis, requires that any customer of a regulated utility company who has an appointment with a Community Action Agency will have their disconnection suspended for 5 days past the date of the appointment. Customers are required to enroll on a Commission ordered payment plan (winter heating season plan, one-sixth, one-ninth, or PIPP Plus if eligible). PIPP Plus Customers: PIPP Plus customers must pay the balance of the default by the due date of the next bill in order to get re-enrolled on PIPP Plus. Payment can be used to pay reconnection fees or deposits if client cannot get utilities connected at a new residence due to outstanding bills at the previous residence or poor credit.
