Explains the legal aspects of rape and assault (but does not give legal advice), facilitates communication between client and other parties such as police and the courts, helps clients write Victim Impact Statements, and assists with dealing with the Ohio Parole Board. Helps clients access programs for victims of crimes in the State of Ohio and makes referrals to lawyers.

Provides temporary emergency shelter for survivors (women and men) of domestic violence and their children. Can house up to 32 people. Counseling, support, parenting education and advocacy are offered to residents. Provides on-going support to prevent re-victimization. A case manager will provide life skills training to help clients procure housing, employment, food, clothing, etc.

Assist survivor/victims of domestic violence, rape and sexual assault and human trafficking with information and support to navigate the legal and justice systems, safety planning, and barrier reduction. Assistance with Protection Orders, court appearances, police reports, and related issues; court accompaniment, and assisted through the legal system on varying issues (filing charges, etc.) responds 24/7 to Hospital and provides Rapid Response to law enforcement as requested.

Provides crisis intervention and safety planning for people who are in (or have experienced) a domestic violence situation. Also provides screening to determine if emergency shelter is needed for individuals and families who say they are are victims of domestic violence in need of safety and respite due to fleeing a domestic violence relationship or situation. If no need for immediate shelter is determined, agency refers individuals to their justice system advocates, domestic violence support group and other programming according to their assessment.

Includes information on the legal process, accompaniment to court appointments, safety planning, and planning for next steps in the legal process. Advocates are not attorneys but have access to lists of attorneys who are knowledgeable about domestic violence. Also provides case management for survivors of domestic violence.

Project Woman offers transitional and other supportive housing solutions for survivors of domestic or intimate partner violence and sexual assault. Goal attainment plans wrap intensive supports including housing advocacy, case management, empowerment education and clinical supports. Housing is based on availability and eligibility.
