Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland operates various scattered site shelters providing apartment accommodations for a home-like atmosphere. Families are able to remain together during this period. If shelters are full or unavailable in a certain area, motel accommodations can be arranged. The Emergency Shelter staff work with the individuals and families providing case management to assist clients on the road to self-sufficiency.

Blood Glucose Screening is provided in the clinic during our regular business hours. A 2-4 hour fast is required to perform the blood sugar screening. There is NO CHARGE at this time for this service. Hemoglobin A1c testing is provided at a cost of $20 for all patients. Hemoglobin A1c screening monitors the average blood glucose levels over the last 3 months for those with a diagnosis of diabetes. It is an indicator of overall blood glucose control. Fasting is not necessary. Also will provide glucometers at no cost to Muskingum County residents when available.
