Priority will be given to structural, roof, mechanical and health and safety items. Funds may be used for work necessary to correct substandard, unsanitary or deteriorated condition(s). Types of repairs include correcting written housing code violations and lead paint hazards, replacing roofs and roof elements, furnaces, securing bowing/shifting basements walls, etc. Funds may also be used for health, safety, accessibility and energy efficiency work such as installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, ramps and handrails in accordance with City housing standards.
