Provides meals for individuals and families in need on Wednesdays. Area churches/organizations serve a meal each day of the week on their specified day.

OhioKAN is a flexible and responsive kinship and adoption navigator program designed to assist children, caregivers, and families statewide. OhioKAN's number one goal is to help kinship and adoptive families navigate and connect with all of the resources, supports, and services available to them locally and statewide. The OhioKAN process includes an initial conversation via our statewide phone line (1-844-OHIOKAN), in which an OhioKAN Navigator talks directly with kinship and adoptive families to understand their situation and needs and together determine if OhioKAN can help. If the family and Navigator decide together that OhioKAN can help navigate and access important resources, they complete an assessment overview to begin making a plan together. After this review, the Navigator utilizes the OhioKAN Information Hub to review more than 10,000 local and statewide records to find, analyze, and organize all of the resources available to the family based on their exact situation, location, and needs. These resources are collected into a Personalized Resource Plan, which the family can use as an action plan for accessing all of the local and statewide resources they deserve. The Navigator follows up with the family to ensure they are able to access these resources and address any new or continued challenge

Provides volunteer opportunities both for individuals and corporate volunteers. Volunteer can search the web site to find volunteer opportunities , track their hours and explore community volunteer events. United Way also maintain The Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) provides a place where large numbers of volunteers can be efficiently processed and referred to agencies needing their services. The screening process is implemented by representatives of the Clark County United Way, the Clark County Citizen's Corps and the Clark County Volunteer Manager's Association. The processed used to screen these volunteers provides an easy way to document who is being registered and expenses incurred. Those expenses can later be used for Local matches for recovery funds, if available.

Provides individual, family, and group counseling services. Addresses problems or conditions such as trauma, anger, anxiety, depression, parenting, grief and loss, stress, panic attacks, and adjustment issues. Helps individuals deal with emotional difficulties and improve their coping skills.

Offers resources to support and to answer questions and guide clients through services, benefits, and referrals related to child care, schooling, parenting, wellness, housing, and many other needs. Parent Youth Ambassadors have lived experience.

Identify, report, and prevent the spread of infectious diseases through disease investigation, surveillance, and patient and community education.

Offers mutual support group meetings focused on assisting participants with expressing their grief and moving through the bereavement process.

Responsible for enforcing all laws and ordinances; preventing crime; investigating criminal activity; apprehending, arresting and detaining suspects; presenting evidence; regulating traffic; investigating traffic accidents and engaging in other activities that protect lives and property and preserve peace in the community.

Provides students and families to shop for their basic clothing and hygiene needs, at no cost to them. Clothing sizes ranging from infant all the way up to adult 3XL and includes shoes, coats, hats, gloves and scarves. Hygiene items such as body wash, shampoo, deodorant and shaving cream are also available.

Offers various library services. Has collections of fiction and nonfiction materials available for check out by the public. Offers access to audiovisual materials such as DVDs and CDs. Offers access to reference materials and has librarians available to assist customers with questions. Provides computer and internet access to the public (includes access to library catalog and various databases). Passport services available by appointment.

This program provides preschool services for children with developmental disabilities, age 3 to 5, who are referred by their local school districts. The preschool program, provided at Happy Hearts School, is individualized to meet the needs of each child and to provide training and support for both the child and the child's family. In addition, the preschool program also enrolls typically developing preschoolers.

COTC guarantees to fund the gap between tuition (instructional and general fees) and remaining student need after all other private scholarships, institutional, federal and state aid are exhausted. The Knox Promise will be available to eligible students starting in COTC’s upcoming autumn semester, which begins on Aug. 24.

• Knox County residents who apply to COTC, are admitted and complete the FAFSA annually are automatically considered for the Knox Promise. There is no separate application.
• Enroll in as little as one credit hour each semester to be eligible.
• There is no lifetime dollar limit to Promise awards.
• Other requirements for maintaining satisfactory academic progress, such as maintaining a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA, and other federal eligibility requirements each semester, will apply.

Provides a summer reading challenge program.

Provides support groups and general advocacy for the blind or visually impaired and their family members. Support group members may help others find minor equipment, such as magnifying devices, and makes referrals to other local agencies.

Provides home-delivered meals to eligible older adults and individuals with disabilities.
