Members come together to facilitate the prevention and treatment of elder abuse, neglect and exploitation through study, networking, advocacy and public education. Topics include social policy, clinical practice, community education, conference planning, and other networking opportunities.

Parks and Recreation Department maintains 10 parks and recreation facilities, including the Heath City Water Park, the Davis Shai House, and the city’s pedestrian trail system. The Parks Department seeks to provide a wide variety of recreational opportunities to people of all ages and stages of life. The facilities and programs of The recreation department serve countless numbers of recreational enthusiasts on a daily basis. The Heath Parks and Recreation Department constantly strives to maintain all facilities, properties, and programs at the highest level of quality and safety in order to provide excellence to all who enjoy recreational opportunities in our community.

Seeks volunteers to assist students on the autism spectrum with a wide range of activities.

Provides a congregate meal to area seniors.

Provides nutritious hot meal for senior citizens.

Nutrition education program for women, infants, and children. In addition to nutrition education, participants in the program receive monthly food benefits that include foods that help support growth and development (milk, eggs, beans, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and peanut butter). Nutrition education provided through the WIC program is focused on meeting nutritional needs during pregnancy and until age 5. Common topics covered in WIC appointments include: healthy recipe ideas, cooking basics, family meal time, the roles of vitamins and minerals, and the recommended portions for certain age groups. Our WIC program also provides breastfeeding education and helps link program participants to medical care and community resources. Women who are pregnant or who have recently had a baby, infants, and children under age 5 are eligible for the program if they receive a form of Ohio Medicaid, or if their household income is less than 185% of the poverty level.

All parents are welcome to attend this family celebration with their children. Area churches and organizations provide meals at 6 pm for all who come. There will be a night of devotion lead by Pastor Oscar Bickerdt Jr, of Jacksontown United Methodist Church, and followed by a time of fellowship and play for the kids. At the end of the evening, the children can go through the Children's Food Pantry.

Accepts donated cadavers for anatomical study at the university and for use in medical research.

Through LCCC’s University Partnership, students can earn a bachelor’s or master’s degree from Ohio universities and colleges. LCCC offers bachelor’s degrees in microelectronic manufacturing and smart industrial automated systems engineering technology.

Offers transportation to and from Country Neighbor, medical appointments, recreational activities, social service agency visits, and limited shopping for residents 60 years old and older in southern Ashtabula. COVID-19 Temporary Message: Country Neighbor will temporarily suspend the congregate meal service in our dining rooms and programming activities in both Andover and Orwell effective Monday, March 16, 2020 through Friday, April 3, 2020 due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic. The offices will remain open for other services. Country Neighbor meal site attendees are being notified of the suspension and will be offered the opportunity of receiving home delivered meals during this period. All Country Neighbor staff will continue to take health and safety precautions including sanitizing and disinfecting vehicle services, washing and sanitizing hands and other measures to reduce risk of disease transmission. Hosting a pop-up food pantry of non-perishable food items.

Provides fire prevention, fire protection, and emergency medical/rescue services for the City of North Royalton. Offers CPR instruction, blood pressure screenings, first aid instruction, car seat inspections, and fire inspections. Speaks about fire prevention/education to groups and schools and has an annual safety fair.

Offers opportunities for community engagement as well as business development, legislative updates, problem solving, marketing, networking opportunities, and tourist information for the Parkman Township area. Sponsors various community events.

Assists clients with tax-related issues, including tax return audits and exams, disputes over the EITC and other credits, stopping tax levies and collection alternatives with the IRS, State of Ohio, and City of Columbus. Especially assists clients who have received notices that their credits have been disallowed, suspect identity theft, are receiving bills for joint debts they do not owe, are facing a levy, have tax debts and other hardship situations or whose refunds are being offset to the spouse's taxes or debts to their own tax debts.

Emergency assistance with water bills may be provided to veterans discharged under honorable conditions in a time of need. When a veteran is requesting assistance the emergency support eligibility must be determined with the required documents according to the ESR (Emergency Soldier's Relief) policy.

Offers multi-purpose facility. It houses the 1,500 seat Kuss Auditorium, The 200 seat turner studio theatre, community rooms and faculty offices with classroom space.

Provides a free legal clinic for LGBTQ+ people. Some of the legal area that are included are consumer law (such as fraud and identity theft), family law, civil rights, and administrative assistance (such as SSI or disability). Legal representation for LGBTQ+ individuals within 300% of the Federal Policy Guidelines via Clinic staff alongside an Attorney Referral Network. The Clinic also hosts regular clinics and trainings in partnership with agencies across the state.

The Summer Lunch Buddies Program is offered from June 9, 2025 to July 3, 2025 for students up to 4th grade who could benefit from a free lunch and reading help. Registration is required at Summer Lunch Buddies.
