Provides for the spiritual, social, mental and physical development of children and youth and their families through a broad-based program which includes classes, recreational activities, fitness programs, leadership development opportunities, camping, youth clubs, parent-child programs, youth employment support services, cross-cultural exchange programs, community involvement opportunities and a variety of other activities that give participants a chance to develop a wide range of interpersonal relationships, strengthen family ties, and to achieve a satisfying degree of personal growth.

Provides presentations of papers and workshops several times a year, featuring distinguished psychoanalytic clinicians and educators. Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits are available for mental health practitioners.

Administrative offices.

Provides an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for women with substance use disorders. Service includes group and individual counseling. If needed, offers a Recovery Housing option where clients can reside at Hitchcock while participating in traditional IOP services. Assistance with transportation available.

Offers household goods including kitchenware, toys, and decorations to individuals in need. Available items depend on donations received.

Offers educational programs and activities about the local wildlife habitats throughout the year for older adults. Programs can be offered at various locations such as local senior centers and assisted living facilities.

Provides Federal court services. In general, federal courts only hear cases in which the United States is a party, cases involving violations of the U.S. Constitution or federal laws, cases between citizens of different states if the amount in controversy exceeds $75,000, as well as bankruptcy, copyright, patent, and maritime law cases.

Obtain death certificates from the county vital statistics office where the event occured and birth records from any vital statistics office regardless of where the birth event occured in Ohio, (Exception: sealed adoption records may only be obtained from the state office of Vital Statistics in Columbus, OH.)

Provides school enrollment for the upcoming school year. Enrollment is allowed at any time of the year.

Provides group and 1:1 treatment sessions, targeted CM including assistance and necessary referrals and support for re-entry needs, medical screening and referrals as needed, life skills training, employee and economic wellness

Provides medical services and medication management for behavioral health issues.

Provides a public university offering post-secondary educational programming.

Provides a temporary holding facility for the Village of Brooklyn Heights.

Provides support groups for adults with chronic lung disease (emphysema, bronchitis, asthma and other related health issues) and their caregivers.

Through work experience, adult clients develop skills in work responsibilities, performance and interpersonal skills. Some services include paid employment and supportive services, such as rehabilitation engineering, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and physical therapy. Individualized and small group instruction in self-directed leisure activities, computer skills, and the like, are offered.

Maintains safe roads, bridges, and intersections.

Provides full fire services for the City of Bedford Heights. Offers blood pressure screening. Teaches CPR classes upon request for companies or community groups. Provides fire prevention brochures when available. Provides smoke detectors to low income residents in need of one when available.

Provides a course in basic traffic and pedestrian safety for pre-schoolers.

Provides services to the general public in the areas of highways, culverts, sewage treatment plants, waterlines, sanitary sewers, detention basins, bridges and ditches.

Provides supplemental food via electronic benefits card, nutrition education, breastfeeding education, support and counseling, and referral services to eligible women, infants and children.

Offers basic academic skills training to prepare for official GED testing, including GED practice testing. Individual, small group, and computer-based instruction available. Also serves as a GED testing site.

Provides a variety of crime prevention and education programs. Services include various targeted crime prevention initiatives, legal information, safety tips and a police/community relations group. Bicycle rodeos are held in the public schools to promote bicycle safety awareness and safe-riding practices.

Offers mental health treatment from psychiatrists. Treatment may include psychiatric medication evaluation and management.
