The Pickaway County Veterans Service Board will pay up to $1,000 of an insurance to veterans or widows of veterans affected by the Memorial Day 2019 tornadoes that struck Pickaway County. Veterans must prove they own or rent the property that was damaged and show an intent to repair or rebuild. Must provide DD214 form and Declaration page from the insurance company showing the deductible they have, the amount the insurance was going to cover, and the claim number. If a widow is applying for assistance, must bring spouse’s death certificate and DD214 form.

Provides and maintains acreage and facilities for the athletic and recreational needs of the West Geauga community. Maintains: soccer fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, a baseball diamond, picnic pavillion, children's play area, and jogging path.

Provides emergency funds for dogs that are experiencing an urgent or critical medical emergency, such as being hit by a car, needing lifesaving surgery, or having a serious infection requiring urgent care or hospitalization. BCMH is a tax supported, state administered, program of the Ohio Department of Health. Their mission is to assure through the development and support of high quality and coordinated systems, so that children with special health care needs and their families obtain comprehensive care and services which are family centered, community based and culturally competent. The purpose of BCMH is to rule out a handicapping condition, to diagnose a condition and/or develop a plan of treatment.
