Program is a last resort for assistance and does not pay for services received before an application is submitted. Generally caps funding at $4,000 per applicant per year. Note: Does not provide assistance for routine care such as vaccines, annual checkups, or care that is not urgent or critical in nature.
Will be requested as needed. May include proof of financial need such as tax records and SSI award letters.

Provides emergency funds for dogs that are experiencing an urgent or critical medical emergency, such as being hit by a car, needing lifesaving surgery, or having a serious infection requiring urgent care or hospitalization. Funds are paid directly to the veterinarian treating the dog. Funds may be limited at times.
