Provides a two-building, maximum security county jail for the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas and some suburban courts. Also provides a veterans jail housing unit which includes benefits such as: weekly specialized and targeted programming, camaraderie of other veterans, job development planning, services to avoid homelessness, access to mental health services (including substance abuse and dual diagnosis) and veteran mentors.

Programs to help families achieve self-sufficiency, provides eligible applicants with food stamps and Medicaid services. Ohio utilizes the Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Program to administer food stamp distribution. Eligible families receive an electronic card with a dollar credit equal to the maximum monthly benefits based on family income, family size, and other eligibility criteria. Families/individuals use the EBT card at participating stores. The family/individual is able to add credit to the card each month for basic food items to support the household.

• Bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma.
• Ear pain.
• Allergies and sinus infections.
• Rash, cellulitis, poison ivy, minor allergic reactions.
• Eye infections, irritations, and minor foreign bodies.
• Fractures, sprains, and strains.
• Cuts, scrapes, splinters.
• Minor laceration repair.
• Minor burns and puncture wounds.
• Provides sports physicals for school age students.

Columbus Recreation and Parks Department will extend hours at select community centers during extreme cold. Watch the department's website and social media channels for updates. Information is also shared with the local news media.

Provides a traffic court for the Village of Newburgh Heights. All cases with no contest or guilty pleas will be resolved (citation fees, etc.) through the traffic court. If a not guilty plea is entered, the case will be transferred to Garfield Heights Municipal Court.

Offers home delivered meals, both hot and frozen, for people who are homebound, unable to prepare meals, or have no one to help. The need may be temporary or long-term. Dietary accommodations include kosher, diabetic-friendly, gluten-free, renal, and cardiac therapeutic meals. Case managers work closely with clients to address nutritional needs.

Provides assistance with reading, organizing, and/or writing.

Provides services for individuals in crisis to stabilize the situation, resolve the immediate crisis, and assure linkage to services and resources to avoid further crisis situations, out of home placements and hospitalizations.

Provides free hospital care for qualifying low-income, uninsured patients. Services not covered by Hospital Care Assurance Program (HCAP) are medically unnecessary treatments, transplant services, physician charges, ambulance, and patient convenience items (telephone, parking, television, personal items).

Provides free housing to any adult who has come to Cleveland to receive cancer treatment or related procedures at a local care provider. Patients may stay as long as treatment continues. Cooking facilities are provided, but residents must provide food. Free laundry facilities available.

Offers recreational activities and facilities. Offers a community swimming pool, soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, hike/bike paths, playground equipment, restroom facilities and shelter houses available for reservations.

PRC funds may pay for clothing in order to assist the family with attaining/maintaining self-sufficiency. The clothing must be needed for a job or job training.

Helps individuals who have disabilities to learn about or acquire assistive technology that assists individuals with disabilities to function independently in the areas of work, home or school. Devices may include those to assist with blindness/low vision, communication, computer use, learning aids, and for individuals who are deaf or hearing-impaired. *Devices can be loaned to individuals for up to 30 days as a device trial, short term need, or to serve as a loaner during repair or while waiting for funding for a device. *They do not provide funding for devices or vehicles, but may be able to direct clients to other resources. *Devices can be shipped to clients with free return shipping.

Offers storytelling to young children in a group setting. Also features storytelling for the whole family.
