An 8 week online (Zoom) self-management program led by a Nurse Educator and Peer Educator. Each weekly 60 minute session follows a curriculum such as medication compliance, stress management techniques, importance of diet and exercise with epilepsy, sleep and epilepsy. Excellent Program designed to help those transitioning from high school to college, people newly diagnosed, or those struggling with the challenges presented by living with epilepsy.

Two options are available: Compliant - will need for air travel or Standard cards (Note: The federal government will no longer consider standard driver licenses and identification cards as sufficient forms of identification for air travel as of May 7, 2025.) Individuals may not hold both a state identity card and a state driver's license. Cards are good for eight (8) years, expiring on the applicant's birthday.

Provides a way for people to donate their bodies to be used for scientific study by students of the medical school. Body is donated at death of the donor. Accepts donations by pre-death registration or by the family of the deceased. Service includes filing official death certificate paperwork, transportation of the deceased, and cremation and return of ashes (if desired by the family) once studies are completed.

The University of Toledo’s Division of Continuing Education, housed in University College, serves lifelong learning needs of our community and beyond. We do this in partnership with UT’s colleges and their top faculty as well as through other high quality subject matter experts. In addition, the Colleges of Law, Pharmacy and Business Administration provide continuing learning opportunities for their alumni and the community.

Emergency assistance for food, clothing, counseling and some financial help with prescriptions. Free hot lunches served last week of the month (weekdays only).

Offers a federally funded program administered by the Ohio Development Services Agency (ODSA) to help eligible low-income Ohioans meet the high costs of home heating. If you are eligible for assistance, the amount of your one-time Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) benefit will depend on federal funding levels, how many people live with you, total household income and the primary fuel you use to heat your home. In most cases, the one-time benefit will be a credit applied to your energy bill by your utility company (or fuel vendor).

Provides home-delivered meals to residents who are in need. Two meals will be delivered each day one main meal and one light meal (soup or sandwich).

Serves all of Franklin County; (CMS) provides ASAM Level 1 Outpatient Opioid Maintenance Treatment services for clients with a diagnosis of opioid use disorder (OUD) determined by DMS and ASAM criteria. Services include: medication management, SMI.co-occurring disorders, and community-based services.

Offers an in-school secondary program,at every county high school, for pregnant students and young parents. The purpose of GRADS is to increase the likelihood that young parents will remain in school with little interruption until graduation.

Establishes and enforces zoning regulations and planning for the City of Strongsville. Maintains subdivision plots and individual plot plans of single family homes, computer generated zoning and infrastructure maps, records of sewers, culverts, and waterlines.

PRC funds may pay for gasoline in order to assist the family with attaining/maintaining self-sufficiency. The gasoline must be needed for getting to and from a job or job training.
