No restrictions. Visitors must be 18 and older or be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18.
Visitors need ID: driver's license or temporary driver's license, Ohio ID card, or Cuyhoaga County Dept. of Human Services ID card (no food stamp cards).
The jail is open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Due to the Corona Virus, Visitation at the Cuyahoga County Corrections Center is suspended. Remote video visitation was made available Wednesday (03/18/20). It will be free for the next 30 days, allowing each inmate one visit a week at no cost. Normal Visiting hours are based on inmate's last name.

Phone for information M-F: 8:00am-4:30pm. Visitors must preregister before visiting and may not visit the same day as registering. Walk in to register M-F: 8:00am-7:00pm, but call first to find out complete registration information.

Provides a two-building, maximum security county jail for the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas and some suburban courts. Also provides a veterans jail housing unit which includes benefits such as: weekly specialized and targeted programming, camaraderie of other veterans, job development planning, services to avoid homelessness, access to mental health services (including substance abuse and dual diagnosis) and veteran mentors.
