Families in need of Christmas assistance must complete an application and those will be available through local schools and social service agencies. Applications will also be available for pick-up at the police station and fire department. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, pick-up and delivery of items will be done through a drive-thru service at the Crestline Fire Department at 6pm on Dec. 13. All applications must be turned in to the Crestline Police Department on or before Nov. 30.

This year, UWGDA is partnering with Bellbrook Sugarcreek Community Center for "Toys from the Heart." This partner will serve Xenia, Bellbrook, Spring Valley and Sugarcreek school districts students only.

The Hope Center provides holiday assistance and toys for those in need by appointment, through November 26, 2024.

Holiday gifts are available to eligible families and seniors who sign up by the deadline. Family and senior signups occur at the beginning to middle of October. Call for more information.

Shop with a Cop is available to Delaware County families with children, who qualify to participate. School resource officers and school counselors make referrals. Families are accepted/approved on a first-come, first-served basis. The application deadline is in early November. Families participating in any other holiday assistance program will not qualify for Shop with a Cop.The Delaware County Sheriff's Office presents the 2024 Shop with a Cop program! Assists families living in the Big Walnut School District through a toy shopping date for parents. Holiday food boxes are also available. Registration dates are October 23, 2024 to November 27, 2024, and are in-person at the Center (565 W. Cherry St., Sunbury).The Santa's Toy Shop for parents and grandparents is on December 14, 2024, for children ages newborn to 13 years. BWFWS does their best to arrange gift adoption for teens from 14-18 years of age.
