Funds are available for small business, tuition, medical expenses, home improvements (including improvements that increase accessibility in a home), high-interest (predatory) debt on funds borrowed from other sources, and a variety of other needs. May include multiple debts into one loan request as long as amount requested does not exceed $10,000. Checks are written to the organization that is owed, not to the individual.

A micro loan for up to $1,500 may be able to assist with financial emergencies such as car repair, emergency medical bill, credit cards, etc. The loan is available at 3% interest and is a 12 month loan. The loan may be available to a family or family member, and can only assist with one loan at a time. Other restrictions may apply. Call for more information.
Provides financial assistance to help with some types of medical costs, including transportation, co-payments, home care, childcare, and pain medication.

Provides aid to families to buy items or pay for services that are emergencies and non-recurring (a situation not extending beyond 4 months) and which cannot be addressed using existing community resources. May consider providing assistance with various needs at the discretion of the agency.
Provides financial and other supports to eligible young adults to assist in finding and maintaining safe and secure housing (possibly rent, deposit, and/or gas, electric or water utilities), food, clothing, personal care items, educational and training expenses, and other services that assist with transitioning from foster care to adulthood. Service includes regular meetings with a case manager to help direct the young adult and oversee payments for services. Assistance may be provided as long as the young adult remains eligible.

PRC program was established in Ohio to help families overcome immediate barriers to achieving or maintaining self-sufficiency. The program provides benefits and services to families who are in need of help with essential support to become self-sufficient. The PRC Program is designed to: •Prevent families from having to apply for OWF cash assistance when a crisis arises; •Help families retain employment by enhancing job skills , overcoming barriers and providing short-term assistance or wage supplementation if necessary. •Provide for contingent needs by helping families with nonrecurring urgent problems that could, if left unattended, result in families needing long-term public assistance. •Support families receiving OWF with services to enable them to become self-sufficient. Provides short-term assistance to help families overcome emergent barriers to obtaining and retaining employment. Assistance may be provided for employment-related or training-related needs, such as transportation expenses, work or school uniforms, or school fees or supplies. Assistance may also be provided for needs that could de-stabilize employment, including rent and utility expenses, childcare, and car repairs. This program is also known as PRC.
