Accepting electronic items for recycling. Items will be refurbished and provided to low-income families. The following items will be accepted:

• Desktop or laptop computers
• Phones
• TVs and monitors (no CRTs - box/tube television sets)
• Computer accessories like keyboards, mice, or speakers
• Printers
• Hard drives and other computer parts
• Power cords and cables
• Servers and networking equipment

Items can be in any condition: new, used, broken.

Provides information for those with disabilities on topics including adaptive equipment, transportation, accessible housing, traveling and other issues. Also assists individuals to access other resources in the community.

The Ticket to Work program gives eligible SSDI and SSI recipients access to employment career support and counseling services such as job placement assistance and, if necessary, vocational rehabilitation. In addition, provides a wide variety of "work incentives" to make it easier for SSI and SSDI recipients to work while still receiving health care and cash benefits.

Intervention is provided to identify the existence of any substance abuse problems and subsequent needed services.

Offers a video monitored location where buyers, sellers, and traders using websites like Craigslist or EBay can meet to complete their transactions in person. It is not normal procedure for an officer to be present or stand by during a meeting or transaction. However individual requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis, such as transactions involving a large amount of cash, and will be dependent upon officer availability.

Actively seeking volunteers for a variety of animal services volunteer opportunities. Also seeking professionals to volunteer in areas including marketing, technology, fundraising, graphic design and data entry.

Provides a 3 day supply of groceries (canned and dry foods to make up 3 meals a day) packed according to family size. Occasionally, baby formula may be available. Generally, this pantry will attempt to include holiday related items during November and December.

Seeks volunteers who can assist in classrooms that serve those with intellectual developmental delays. Activities may include helping students learn and practice using their own communication devices; practice of assigned learning skills, games on computers, accompanying students to physical education classes or other activities.

Provides a cooling center during extremely warm weather.

Matches Volunteer with children who are affected by an incarcerated parent. Provides intervention with a positive role model adult offering emotional and academic support.

Offers a youth enrichment program for boys with speakers, presentations, field trips, and mentoring.

Building Financial Stability is a workshop that helps individuals experiencing poverty build resources and relationships.

Provides a list of retail pharmacies that offer Naloxone medication without a prescription. Naloxone (Narcan) is a safe medication that can reverse an overdose that is caused by prescription opioids, heroin and fentanyl. When administered during an overdose, naloxone blocks the effects of opioids on the brain and can restore breathing in a matter of minutes.

Provides fire protection and paramedic services for Bainbridge Township. Offers blood pressure screening. Also offers fire prevention and public education. Adult Education programs offer training in fire extinguishers, CPR, carbon monoxide, home fire safety, commercial/industrial fire safety, and first aid. Youth Education programs offer specially designed courses geared towards preschool and elementary children.

Offers short-term loan items such as mobility aids, seating aids, and some sickroom supplies including wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, bedside commodes, and seating lifts.

Provides individual and/or group peer support meetings as well as socialization activities for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder.

Provides weekly domestic violence support groups to educate, support, and assist survivors of domestic violence.

Sanitarians conduct comprehensive inpsections of schools, the county jail, campgrounds, RV parks, and manufactured home parks. In cooperation with the Ohio Department of Health, the sanitarians review plans for, license, and inspect all campgrounds, public pools, and spas.

Provides vouchers to be used by eligible children to attend participating non-public schools located within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD). A list of participating schools is available from the department. The number of vouchers available in an academic year depends on the state budget. Maximum voucher amounts may or may not cover the entire tuition at a particular school.

Provides assistance with preparing federal and state income tax returns. Can file for many tax credits. Provides electronic filing (E-File) of returns, which offers quick refunds (generally within 7-10 days). Services are provided by volunteers who are IRS trained and certified.
