Participants receive a wealth of printed materials. Each five-week class series includes a tour of the birthing center, including a look at the birthing suites and postpartum unit. (even if they will not deliver at Metro). Participants in this course are also eligible to have the assistance of a doula (a skilled woman to assist the mother at the birth).
