Includes learning parts of the computer, navigating the Windows operating system and Microsoft Word, organizing files, computer vocabulary, keyboarding skills and searching the Internet.

Provides daytime access to heated facilities during times of extreme cold. People utilizing the warming center should expect a room with access to restrooms, chairs and possibly tables.There are no beds or dedicated sleeping areas. There will be no food preparation areas. These facilities are only intended to be utilized as warming centers.

Offsite Distributions:Monthly, Shared Harvest Foodbank hosts mass drive thru food distributions in three of the other counties served, Miami, Preble, and Darke Counties. Location and time vary. See Events Calendar https://www.sharedharvest.org/events or Facebook for the latest distribution updates.Pre-registration is not required for these events. Residents under the 200% FPL (Federal Poverty Guidelines) are served. The food distributed varies based on inventory and donations to Shared Harvest Foodbank. Drive Thru Food distributions may be canceled due to severe weather such as thunderstorms with lightning or tornado warnings. Cancellations may also occur in advance due to previously scheduled events or holidays.

Provides a soup kitchen with free lunch and to-go dinner in a warm and welcoming atmosphere for those in need.

Provide decent, safe, and sanitary housing to those people who are 62 or older. Rental amount is based on 30% of their adjusted income, and includes electric, water, and trash collection. Pets are welcome.

Provides fire protection, business and home inspections and preventative services to Olmsted Falls. Services include CPR, AED and First Aid training.

Provides training, conferences, and independent study courses on a variety of disaster issues such as disaster preparedness, disaster mitigation, and coping with disasters. Some courses offer CEU's.

Offers a range of outpatient treatment services for individuals who have concerns related to the use of alcohol and/or other drugs. Services may include individual and group counseling, medication-assisted treatment, case management, and other supportive services.

Assists students with obtaining work permits, participates in the federal school lunch program, and provides transportation to and from school to eligible students.

Provides comprehensive care for various orthopedic conditions. Led by board-certified orthopedic surgeons who cover a range of orthopedic specialties and who have additional specialty-specific fellowship training.

Provides outpatient speech therapy. Will work with persons who have language, swallowing, and speech disorders due to health conditions such as stroke or head injury.

Knox County CERT is a group of trained individuals that are prepared to respond to both natural and man-made disasters. CERT educates the community about disaster preparedness and offers an 8 week training course, coordinated through the Knox County Citizen Corps Council, that focuses on disaster preparedness, fire suppression, medical operations, search and rescue, disaster psychology, and team organization.

Operates as a public health initiative committed to reducing obesity and smoking in Lima and Allen County by promoting healthy eating, active living and a tobacco free lifestyle. Does not provide health services to individuals, but works with agencies and community stake holders to promote these goals and to provide education and best practices on these issues.

Inpatient addiction treatment services provide for treatment care in an overnight setting for inpatient detoxification. Besides comfortable overnight accommodations, patients are provided with meals and can take advantage of the patients' lounge, exercise equipment, group activity, therapy sessions, and other amenities.

Provides consumers, physicians, food distributors and restaurant owners with access to licensed dietitians or dietetic technicians through referrals to local health care facilities, community organizations, wellness centers and private practices. Offers nutritional assessment, counseling, education and care standards.

Offers financial assistance for individuals seeking state-issued photo identification cards or birth certificates.

• Limit of 2 birth certificates per family, given one time only. If seeking birth certificate for children, must provide proof of relationship to said children.
• Limit of 1 state ID card per year.

*Help with obtaining birth certificates from other states offered, but requirements from other states may hinder the ability to obtain said birth certificate.

Responsible for the pickup of dead animals on public and accessible private property. Trash pickup and recycling are done weekly.
