COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (CERT) | KNOX COUNTY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Knox County CERT is a group of trained individuals that are prepared to respond to both natural and man-made disasters. CERT educates the community about disaster preparedness and offers an 8 week training course, coordinated through the Knox County Citizen Corps Council, that focuses on disaster preparedness, fire suppression, medical operations, search and rescue, disaster psychology, and team organization.
