Based on your assessment and your needs, our team will recommend a treatment plan that typically includes a combination of talk therapy, holistic therapies, peer-to-peer support groups, and medication management. Sometimes people with mental health issues are also struggling with substance abuse. A treatment plan that addresses individuals needs and symptoms will be developed.

Provides art therapy sessions for child and adult victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or human trafficking.

A comprehensive in-home therapeutic program offering individual, group, and family counseling for youth who have been victims of reported or suspected sexual abuse.

Provides a central point of intake for those who need services from multiple agencies that offer services for victims of violent crime. Goal is to help the victim avoid the extra stress of traveling to several locations for different types of assistance. Victim advocates help with protection orders, communication with the police or prosecutors, and access to counseling, among other supportive services.

Provides support, assistance and legal education to survivors of rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse when survivors choose to prosecute the offenders. Explains the legal aspects of rape and assault (but does not give legal advice), facilitates communication between client and other parties such as police and the courts, helps clients write Victim Impact Statements, and assists with dealing with the Ohio Parole Board. Helps clients access programs for victims of crimes in the State of Ohio and makes referrals to lawyers. Volunteers meet survivors at the hospital and stay with the victim through the physical exam and the police report. Volunteers bring a kit for survivor, which includes clothes.

Provides a wide range of programs for children who are victims of abuse or other acts of violence. Services include the following: forensic interviews at a child-friendly site where professionals conduct joint investigative interviews with child victims, crisis counseling and case management for victims and non-offending family members (available to children and families at all stages of the investigation and prosecution process). The program helps children and families cope and heal emotionally, animal-assisted therapy support for victims of violence. Provides practical information and support to the children and family about the investigation and court process, safety education that teaches young children about safe and unsafe touches and ways to seek help from trusted adults, and also provides on-site medical exams.
