Provides an opportunity for people with mental illness to gather for a meal and to socialize. Services include an evening meal and activities such as movies, games, arts and crafts, and outings. Clients may choose to participate in any or all of the services and activities.

Offers mutual support groups for people with schizophrenia. The groups provide an opportunity for participants to share information, practical tips for daily living, and encouragement about issues related to the problem.

Helps link women to treatment providers to assist with concerns regarding maternal mood disorders including anxiety and depression. NOTE: This is not a direct service or counseling service. Summit County Maternal Depression Network (SCMDN) has agreements with multiple treatment providers that expedite treatment services for women referred through the network.

Provides formal supervision for those awaiting trial or on community control (probation) as ordered by the court. Supervises probationers and monitors compliance to the conditions of their probation as well as providing other services such as referrals for social services. Specialized probation services provided for those needing intensive supervision such as those who are mentally disordered offenders, mentally retarded offenders, and sex offenders. Places offenders into drug treatment when needed. Provides case management for those in drug treatment and acts as a liaison between the court, client, and treatment facility. Also supervises persons in the work release and home detention programs.

Provides a program for severely mentally disabled adults, most of whom have previously lived in residential treatment facilities, who have progressed to the point where they require less supervision and support and are able to live more independently in the community. Provides housing in various agency-owned an/or managed homes located throughout Geauga County. The residential services staff and community support staff provide assistance and support as needed to help ensure successful independent living.

Provides diagnostic assessment, Strategic Family Therapy, targeted case management, school and community intervention. Designed for complicated cases and difficult issues such as: delinquency, school failure or refusal, anger management, Children Services involvement, self-injurious behavior, Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), major mental illness, mood disorders, acting out, oppositional behavior and ADHD.

Provides disability benefits assistance by offering information to people with disabilities relating to federal and state benefits. Provides assistance with resources such as food stamps, housing, child care, Medicaid, transportation, as well as vocational rehabilitation services. Assists with applications and appeals for Social Security disability benefits.

A comprehensive treatment program for individuals who have had an initial episode of a schizophrenia spectrum disorder. Provides immediate, team-based sustained help through family psycho-education, supported employment/education, medication management, individual counseling and case management.

Provides the opportunity for those who have experienced loss and/or trauma to get support and give support to others in these situations. Groups are facilitated by trained counselors.

The Miami Valley Hospital Psychiatric/Mental Health/Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Services offers morning group sessions.

Operates veterans service organization whose members work together in developing and supporting community activities. Also operates outreach program that offers specific information regarding transition from military to civilian life as well as issues related to PTSD.

A residential program with 7 locations throughout the County, five of which are agency owned, and all of which are agency-operated, offering single, shared and congregate living arrangements.

Offers individual and group counseling to those whose lives have been affected by their own or a loved one's use or abuse of drugs or alcohol. Provides assessement for drug use disorder as well as mental health issues. Offers psychiatric counseling. Offers dual diagnosis services for those with mental health concerns and substance abuse issues. Peer Recovery Support may also be part of the program.

This confidential, self-help support group is peer-led and is only open to people with a diagnosis of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder or other diagnosis that includes symptoms of psychosis. A mental health professional attends the meetings and serves as advisor at the Westerville and West Columbus locations. The groups provide positive, mutual support and fellowship to people living with these disorders. Voices Worth Hearing is co-sponsored by Concord Counseling and Community Support Network. Each group averages approximately 6 to 12 members at each weekly meeting.

Offers a reentry program for individuals at risk of homelessness with severe and persistent mental illnesses or HIV diagnosis exiting the prison system. Supportive services include case management, behavioral healthcare, employment, reentry support, and rental subsidies for housing.
