Provides alcohol and other drug-free congregate living arrangements which facilitate the return to the community of individuals who are recovering from problems related to substance use disorder and who need ongoing support to sustain an abstinent lifestyle. Also has one location specifically for those who are living with AIDS/HIV.

Our medical providers offer Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) services to patients to reduce the likelihood of contracting HIV. Our providers are also trained in providing Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) an emergency-based treatment for the prevention of HIV after possible exposure has occurred. Protects community health by providing anonymous and confidential HIV testing (OraSure/Oraquick) and counseling, and encouraging behavioral changes that reduce the risk of AIDS, other sexually transmitted diseases and tuberculosis. Services offered include outreach, pre and post-test counseling, counseling, referrals, information and condom distribution.

Hosts a bi-weekly organic food pantry for low-income, HIV positive individuals residing in Summit and Portage counties. Offers fresh and organic fruit, vegetables, and raw meat to take home and prepare meals. Provides recipes and tips on cooking to interested clients. Works to help recipients gain control of their health and manage their HIV infections through nutrition.

Provides medical case management and help with HIV related medical, dental, and mental health visits and payments. The OHDAP (Ohio HIV Drug Assistance program) is also coordinated through our agency. This program provides financial aid for HIV related medications and some medical insurance premium payments and co-pays.

HOPWA assists Equitas Health clients and any HIV positive clients in paying rent, mortgage, electric, gas and water bills to prevent homelessness or interruption of utility service in an emergency situation. Case management services can include: budgeting, counseling, education, referrals to resources, advocacy, and transportation.

Provides information and resources regarding discrimination related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and HIV status. Selects cases that will have the greatest impact in protecting and advancing the rights of LGBTQ people and those with HIV. While Lambda Legal is not able to take every case, the Help Desk can discuss legal issues and can provide useful information. This assistance may include follow-up discussions with Lambda Legal attorneys or contact information for an attorney or for other organizations that may directly assist.

Rental subsidies and apartments available to adults who are disabled due to HIV/AIDS. Apartments have space for family members.

Provides health insurance premium payments up to $1,200 for eligible individuals, allowing them to continue existing health insurance policies, thereby receiving adequate prescription drug coverage.
