Hopwa - Housing Opportunities For Persons Living With Hiv/Aids | Equitas Health

HOPWA assists Equitas Health clients and any HIV positive clients in paying rent, mortgage, electric, gas and water bills to prevent homelessness or interruption of utility service in an emergency situation. Case management services can include: budgeting, counseling, education, referrals to resources, advocacy, and transportation.

Provides utility, rent and mortgage assistance. Programs are available for assistance for up to 5 months, for security deposits or 1st month's rent, and for subsidies for people who have applied for disability or are currently full-time students in a GED program, college, or other training program.

Our medical providers offer Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) services to patients to reduce the likelihood of contracting HIV. Our providers are also trained in providing Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) an emergency-based treatment for the prevention of HIV after possible exposure has occurred. PEP should be taken within 72 hours of exposure. For more information about PrEP and PEP, visit www.OhioPrEP.org

Beyond Identities | Aids Taskforce Of Greater Cleveland

Manages a drop-in center for teens and young adults, regardless of gender expression or sexual orientation, who would like a safe space to socialize with other youth. Seeks to prevent HIV and other STDs. Offers education, employment assistance, leadership opportunities, counseling, HIV testing and HIV/AIDS education programs. Provides recreation such as movies, game night, music and parties and offers programs on topics such as staying in school, preparing for college and occasionally offers tutoring.
