Provides one-on-one nutrition and education counseling to help clients take control of their nutritional well-being and lesson the harsh side effects of medications, help the body's immune system fight opportunistic infections, prevent and stop malnutrition.

Legal services are provided during legal clinics. Referrals to community attorneys who offer pro bono or discounted services are also given.

Provides medical case management and help with HIV related medical, dental, and mental health visits and payments. The OHDAP (Ohio HIV Drug Assistance program) is also coordinated through our agency. This program provides financial aid for HIV related medications and some medical insurance premium payments and co-pays.

Offers support services for persons with AIDS/HIV+ to include support groups, case management, education as well as emergency financial assistance.

Provides financial assistance for medical care related to PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis), assistance in completing Truvada patient assistance program application, and transportation assistance to medical care related to PrEP.

Offers information and referrals for resources such as legal, spiritual, psychological, dental, financial, home care and other services needed by those with HIV/AIDS and their families and friends. Also provides printed materials on HIV/AIDS.

Services include: Linkage to HIV testing (confidential, but not anonymous) and pre/post-test counseling. Offers counseling for those who have been newly diagnosed. Also provides HIV support groups as well as "Peer Navigation". This program links people who are newly diagnosed or need a little extra support to manage living with HIV with experienced people who have had HIV a long time and are doing well.

Offers a mutual support group whose members are individuals who have AIDS/HIV. Serves a meal and provides an opportunity for participants to share information, practical tips for daily living and encouragement. Periodic outings (such as bowling, picnic, movies, and so forth) are held.

Provides information about the symptoms, preventative measures, screening/diagnostic procedures and methods of treatment and management for HIV.

Provides publications and public health releases on AIDS clinical trials.

Our medical providers offer Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) services to patients to reduce the likelihood of contracting HIV. Our providers are also trained in providing Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) an emergency-based treatment for the prevention of HIV after possible exposure has occurred. Provides skilled home nursing, home health aides (to assist with grooming, ambulation, personal care, and bathing), in-home physical, occupational, or speech therapy, and in-home respite care for eligible adults in need of these services. Also provides homemaker assistance (meal preparation, laundry and general household management including light housekeeping.) Services also include personal care and homemaking for adults with HIV/AIDS.

Advocates can assist with access to medical care, HIV prevention, education, labs, medication, transportation, housing, access to pantries, support groups, and mental health counseling for Ohioans living with HIV.
