Provides information and resources regarding discrimination related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and HIV status. Selects cases that will have the greatest impact in protecting and advancing the rights of LGBTQ people and those with HIV. While Lambda Legal is not able to take every case, the Help Desk can discuss legal issues and can provide useful information. Our medical providers offer Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) services to patients to reduce the likelihood of contracting HIV. Our providers are also trained in providing Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) an emergency-based treatment for the prevention of HIV after possible exposure has occurred. Offers a mutual support group whose members are individuals who have AIDS/HIV. Serves a meal and provides an opportunity for participants to share information, practical tips for daily living and encouragement. Periodic outings (such as bowling, picnic, movies, and so forth) are held.

Provides medical case management and help with HIV related medical, dental, and mental health visits and payments. The OHDAP (Ohio HIV Drug Assistance program) is also coordinated through our agency. This program provides financial aid for HIV related medications and some medical insurance premium payments and co-pays.

Provides daily hot meals to persons who are unable to provide meals for themselves. Clients may choose from various menu options including home-style entree of the day (regular and diet), deli cold lunch (regular and diet), vegetarian entrees, mechanical soft, pureed, and kosher entrees. Weekly delivery of frozen meals is available for those who may have frequent medical appointments and treatments.

Provides support, referrals, and guidance to persons living with HIV/AIDS and members of their household. Services may include short-term counseling, education, support groups, assistance locating medical professionals, and financial assistance with eligible expenses.

Offers anonymous HIV testing, screening, and pre and post-test counseling. Provides medical treatment, information and referrals to community resources, and mental health services to persons infected with HIV who are not yet showing symptoms of AIDS. Offers a reentry program for individuals at risk of homelessness with severe and persistent mental illnesses or HIV diagnosis exiting the prison system. Supportive services include case management, behavioral healthcare, employment, reentry support, and rental subsidies for housing.

Manages a drop-in center for teens and young adults, regardless of gender expression or sexual orientation, who would like a safe space to socialize with other youth. Seeks to prevent HIV and other STDs. Offers education, employment assistance, leadership opportunities, counseling, HIV testing and HIV/AIDS education programs. Provides recreation such as movies, game night, music and parties and offers programs on topics such as staying in school, preparing for college and occasionally offers tutoring.

Provides skilled home nursing, home health aides (to assist with grooming, ambulation, personal care, and bathing), in-home physical, occupational, or speech therapy, and in-home respite care for eligible adults in need of these services. Also provides homemaker assistance (meal preparation, laundry and general household management including light housekeeping.) Services also include personal care and homemaking for adults with HIV/AIDS.
