Provides medications to treat HIV and HIV-related conditions. Also assists individuals who are HIV positive and have an HIV-related emergency need in the following areas: medical services, limited dental services and limited mental health services.

Provides specialized case management services to people who are HIV positive and living at or below 300% of the federal poverty level. Assists clients with applying for financial assistance and other services. Call office for more information.

Offers psychiatry, individual psychotherapy (in person and TeleHealth and support groups. While specializing in helping those living with HIV/AIDS and the LGBTQ+ community, anyone is welcome to access services.

Provides one-on-one peer support to individuals that are HIV positive.

Provides daily hot meals to persons who are unable to provide meals for themselves. Clients may choose from various menu options including home-style entree of the day (regular and diet), deli cold lunch (regular and diet), vegetarian entrees, mechanical soft, pureed, and kosher entrees. Weekly delivery of frozen meals is available for those who may have frequent medical appointments and treatments.

Speak with someone over the phone or by live chat from the website to learn if you are at risk for HIV or STIs, how to prevent these conditions and to find out testing locations in your area. Learn about how to get free condoms shipped directly to you and other important information about your sexual health.

Hosts a bi-weekly organic food pantry for low-income, HIV positive individuals residing in Summit and Portage counties. Offers fresh and organic fruit, vegetables, and raw meat to take home and prepare meals. Provides recipes and tips on cooking to interested clients. Works to help recipients gain control of their health and manage their HIV infections through nutrition.

Legal services are provided during legal clinics. Referrals to community attorneys who offer pro bono or discounted services are also given.

Provides information and resources regarding discrimination related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and HIV status. Selects cases that will have the greatest impact in protecting and advancing the rights of LGBTQ people and those with HIV. While Lambda Legal is not able to take every case, the Help Desk can discuss legal issues and can provide useful information. This assistance may include follow-up discussions with Lambda Legal attorneys or contact information for an attorney or for other organizations that may directly assist.

Provides information about the symptoms, preventative measures, screening/diagnostic procedures and methods of treatment and management for HIV.

Provides medical case management and help with HIV related medical, dental, and mental health visits and payments. The OHDAP (Ohio HIV Drug Assistance program) is also coordinated through our agency. This program provides financial aid for HIV related medications and some medical insurance premium payments and co-pays.

Provides the latest federally approved information on HIV/AIDS, clinical research, treatment and prevention, and medical practice guidelines for people living with HIV/AIDS, their families and friends, health care providers, scientists and researchers.

Offers limited financial assistance for people living with HIV for utility bill payment assistance, mortgage payment assistance, and rent payment assistance.

Provides publications and public health releases on AIDS clinical trials.

Offers information and referrals for resources such as legal, spiritual, psychological, dental, financial, home care and other services needed by those with HIV/AIDS and their families and friends. Also provides printed materials on HIV/AIDS.

Protects community health by providing anonymous and confidential HIV testing (OraSure/Oraquick) and counseling, and encouraging behavioral changes that reduce the risk of AIDS, other sexually transmitted diseases and tuberculosis. Services offered include outreach, pre and post-test counseling, counseling, referrals, information and condom distribution.

Manages a drop-in center for teens and young adults, regardless of gender expression or sexual orientation, who would like a safe space to socialize with other youth. Seeks to prevent HIV and other STDs. Offers education, employment assistance, leadership opportunities, counseling, HIV testing and HIV/AIDS education programs. Provides recreation such as movies, game night, music and parties and offers programs on topics such as staying in school, preparing for college and occasionally offers tutoring.

Offers anonymous HIV testing, screening, and pre and post-test counseling. Provides medical treatment, information and referrals to community resources, and mental health services to persons infected with HIV who are not yet showing symptoms of AIDS. Can work with individuals to secure medications through patient assistance or insurance programs. Provides case management services to HIV patients. Also offers HIV prevention education for groups.

Offers free and anonymous HIV testing. Provides primary care, treatment, and case management to individuals with HIV/AIDS. Will provide prescriptions to clients. Also offers a monthly dinner and support group for those with HIV/AIDS called the "Free Zone".

Rental subsidies and apartments available to adults who are disabled due to HIV/AIDS. Apartments have space for family members.

Provides utility, rent and mortgage assistance. Programs are available for assistance for up to 5 months, for security deposits or 1st month's rent, and for subsidies for people who have applied for disability or are currently full-time students in a GED program, college, or other training program.

Provides skilled home nursing, home health aides (to assist with grooming, ambulation, personal care, and bathing), in-home physical, occupational, or speech therapy, and in-home respite care for eligible adults in need of these services. Also provides homemaker assistance (meal preparation, laundry and general household management including light housekeeping.) Services also include personal care and homemaking for adults with HIV/AIDS.

Offers a mutual support group whose members are individuals who have AIDS/HIV. Serves a meal and provides an opportunity for participants to share information, practical tips for daily living and encouragement. Periodic outings (such as bowling, picnic, movies, and so forth) are held.

Federally funded program that helps meet housing needs of individuals with HIV/AIDS. This housing program administers vouchers and other housing assitance for persons (or households with a person) who has AIDS/HIV. This program may have a wait list.
