Greater Living Assistance Program | Equitas Health

Provides utility, rent and mortgage assistance. Programs are available for assistance for up to 5 months, for security deposits or 1st month's rent, and for subsidies for people who have applied for disability or are currently full-time students in a GED program, college, or other training program.

Offers anonymous HIV testing, screening, and pre and post-test counseling. Provides medical treatment, information and referrals to community resources, and mental health services to persons infected with HIV who are not yet showing symptoms of AIDS. Can work with individuals to secure medications through patient assistance or insurance programs. Provides case management services to HIV patients. Also offers HIV prevention education for groups.

Nutrition And Transportation Program | Aids Taskforce Of Greater Cleveland

Provides a variety of food services for those with HIV/AIDS. Provides two grocery bags of non-perishable food, food supplements, special fortified frozen meal delivery (5-day supply delivered each week), and 7 day home-delivered maintenance meals for the homebound (1 hot/1 cold -diabetic and low-sodium accommodated). Offers transportation for medical HIV-related appointments and nutrition counseling.

Legal Information Services For Aids/Hiv And Lgbtq Issues | Lambda Legal

Provides information and resources regarding discrimination related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and HIV status. Selects cases that will have the greatest impact in protecting and advancing the rights of LGBTQ people and those with HIV. While Lambda Legal is not able to take every case, the Help Desk can discuss legal issues and can provide useful information. This assistance may include follow-up discussions with Lambda Legal attorneys or contact information for an attorney or for other organizations that may directly assist.

Also provides post-exposure prophylas (PEP) for individuals who have possibly been exposed to HIV. It is only for emergency situations. Provides medical case management and help with HIV related medical, dental, and mental health visits and payments. The OHDAP (Ohio HIV Drug Assistance program) is also coordinated through our agency. This program provides financial aid for HIV related medications and some medical insurance premium payments and co-pays.

Hopwa - Housing Opportunities For Persons Living With Hiv/Aids | Equitas Health

HOPWA assists Equitas Health clients and any HIV positive clients in paying rent, mortgage, electric, gas and water bills to prevent homelessness or interruption of utility service in an emergency situation. Case management services can include: budgeting, counseling, education, referrals to resources, advocacy, and transportation.
