Our medical providers offer Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) services to patients to reduce the likelihood of contracting HIV. Our providers are also trained in providing Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) an emergency-based treatment for the prevention of HIV after possible exposure has occurred. Protects community health by providing anonymous and confidential HIV testing (OraSure/Oraquick) and counseling, and encouraging behavioral changes that reduce the risk of AIDS, other sexually transmitted diseases and tuberculosis. Helping Hands TBRA provides supportive services and a minimum of 12 months of rental assistance to a maximum of permanent assistance (dependent on need and funding availability) to people living with HIV who are housing unstable or homeless. Harmony Place manages subsidized housing and supportive services at a 16-unit complex of 1-, 2- and 3- bedroom units for individuals and families. Shelter Plus Care provides subsidized housing certificates with supportive services.

Rental subsidies and apartments available to adults who are disabled due to HIV/AIDS. Apartments have space for family members.

Federally funded program that helps meet housing needs of individuals with HIV/AIDS. This housing program administers vouchers and other housing assitance for persons (or households with a person) who has AIDS/HIV. This program may have a wait list.

Offers medical, dental and vision services for low-income residents in Columbus. Also provides short-term behavioral healthcare with counseling, group counseling and case management. Recovery supportive services available for those with substance use and addiction issues. Also assists with Medicaid enrollment. Provides HIV/STI testing and other prevention services, including PrEP. Provides HIV care and case management and linkage to care.

Provides intensive outpatient chemical dependency treatment in a 3-phase service. In Phase 1, a complete assessment is done, and counseling and group interventions begin. In Phase 2, the focus is on a relapse prevention plan, positive coping skills, responsibility and sober life management. Parenting classes are offered to clients who are required to participate as part of their plan, and are also open to other participants who have children. Phase 3 focuses on self recovery, journaling, and family roles and relationship sessions. 12-step meetings, individual and couples counseling are primary components of the larger program. Program includes education on topics like domestic violence, dealing with trauma, health screenings, referrals to needed basic services (food, housing, etc.) Child care is not available during sessions currently due to COVID 19.

Provides current treatment information on experimental medical studies (including types of studies, locations and eligibility requirements) for individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.
