Supports grandparents and relative caregivers in Lucas County for over 24 years by offering information and referral services, support groups, evidence-based programs, special events, quarterly newsletters, twice monthly e-newsletters, and publications including a Parenting Smarts Resource Guide.

Offers information and referral for citizens who are having trouble advocating for themselves and accessing community services due to the lack of resources or bilingual/bicultural services in Lorain County. Provides support services for Hispanic adults including short-term case management, advocacy and limited transportation.

Provides a variety of services to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and their families which enhances integration in to their local communities. The services include: advocacy, support services, case management, interpreting services, captioning services, information and referral, public awareness programs, sign choir, and sign language classes for families and community. Individuals and their families may be referred to deaf services by any community agency or individual, or may contact deaf services themselves.

Provides mental health support services to wounded veterans via group activities, online mental health screening/support and one to one peer mentoring. Restore Veterans offers veterans online mental health screening and support tools such as self-help guides and online videos of other veterans sharing their personal experiences. One to one peer support is also available and all peer mentors are alumni of the Wounded Warrior program and are certified by Wounded Warrior to perform their duties.

Provides low-income and under-insured Lorain County patients who are diagnosed with breast cancer, support and resources to improve the quality of their life. Offers relief to individuals by arming them with a comprehensive list of available resources that will encompass several possible aspects of medical and personal care.

Phone agent will refer to or provide information about Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits and services as well as other community resources outside of the VA system that may help with the client's needs.

Provides social services to families and individuals experiencing barriers with accessing public benefits and community resources. Services include (but are not limited to) public benefit application assistance, resource education, referrals to access community resources, and replacement of vital documents.

Guardianship program for severely mentally disabled persons who are identified by the mental health/developmental disabled systems for services. All referrals must go through clinical issues meetings or the case manager supervisor.

provides information and support to fathers to help them develop stronger bonds with their children. Information on parenting is provided and fun parent-child activities are offered. Will refer the father to other community resources that may assist as needed (such as help with budgeting, understanding family law, and/or employment).

Provides assistance with physical mobility issues. Services include transportation orientation, assistance in completing the TARTA application for reduced fares, assessment of mobility needs, and referrals to area services. Provides information on public and private transportation options and will screen to see if the individual is eligible for any programs that exist to help pay for it.

Provides one-on-one information and assistance to aging adults and individuals with disabilities to help identify a wide variety of needs and preferences, and to access community resources, benefit programs and other available social, medical and residential services. Also helps ensure that individuals and their caregivers are aware of the various living options, care options, and supportive services available to them.

Provides 24-hour call center to answer questions about cancer, treatment, resources, programs, support and informational literature. The Road to Recovery offers transportation to medical appointment for people with cancer.
