Benefit Bridge can help you increase financial independence on your road to self-sufficiency by supporting your transition off public benefits such as Medicaid, SNAP, and Subsidized Childcare. Enrolled individuals will work with a care team to address barriers, formulate a success plan, and provide supportive services to help you with your transition. Supportive services can include: - Income support to offset benefit loss - Access to transitional services for medical insurance - Financial incentives to support goal achievement - Training and education. You may be eligible to participate if you: - Are employed and interested in career advancement or a career change - Are receiving or recently transitioned off of public benefits - Desire independence and freedom from public benefits

Social support system and training program for low-income individuals and families to help get out of poverty. Free and open to people who are ready to make a change for the better. Cannot be homeless and must have a stable living situation. Program pairs an "allies" with individuals or families that work together to achieve economic stability and several mentors or Allies who befriend them and lend encouragement. The family is the Circle Leader, setting direction and goals for their lives. With the help and friendship of their Allies, each family sets and achieves goals unique to their own needs. Each person or family begins the program in a 12 week Circle Leader class which uses curriculum in which they learn to use the hidden rules of class to build up financial, emotional, and social resources, and examine the causes of poverty in their community.

Delivers Foundations for a Better Life 12-week program focused on addressing participants' physical, financial, spiritual, emotional, and relational barriers to maintaining employment. While attending the program, participants also have access to transportation assistance, and on-site resources such as free meals, child care, a fitness center, clothing and hygiene products, support group meetings, and a computer lab.

Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS), is a voluntary program designed to assist families in becoming economically independent. With the support of local agencies, FSS combines case management, education, job training, and ongoing support to aid the family in improving their life. The main requirements are a desire to become self-sufficient and a commitment to take the steps necessary to make this happen.
Farmer's Market offers an array of fresh fruits and vegetables from local farms, baked goods, crafts, sports items, household goods and more. This Market accepts SNAP benefits.
Provides educational and supportive services to empower families. Offers tutoring, GED preparation, adult literacy, job readiness training, job placement, financial counseling, assistance with home ownership, loan modification, ESOL classes, citizenship classes, and substance abuse prevention programs. Also provides free produce giveaways from late spring to early fall.

Getting Ahead is a curriculum that helps individuals experiencing poverty build resources and relationships. A small stipend is provided to participants out of respect for the "expert" collaborative process. Classes are held once a week for two hours, and for ten consecutive weeks.

Offers a 12-week program that provides group and individual education sessions focused on responsible parenting, healthy relationships, and economic stability for fathers and father-figures. Participants also receive individual case management, and may be able to access child-care and transportation assistance to facilitate class attendance.

Staying Ahead is a resources development and goal setting program based on the Getting Ahead curriculum. Individuals and families along with their children participate in a weekly group that provides support and education from staff, community professionals, volunteers, and each other as they work to accomplish their goals. The FSS program is designed to provide families with support and guidance to gain or maintain financial independence. FSS is an opportunity for you to improve your personal financial situation FSS will put cash into a special savings account (called an escrow account) to reward you if you increase earned income and successfully complete the program. As your earned income increases, so does the amount that FSS deposits into the escrow account for you each month. FSS clients have earned upon completion amounts ranging from $500 to $12,000. FSS provides case management support to help participants achieve goals related to employment, education, finances or even home ownership. Your FSS Case Manager will work with you and your family to set short and long-term goals. We will identify together steps to take to achieve those goals. Your Case Manager will provide you with the guidance, resources and support you need to move forward towards self-sufficiency.
