Services provided at this location: Accepts Cash payments; Account Inquiries (help with letters, notices and levies on your wages or bank account); Adjustments (changes to tax account information or payments); Alien Clearances (Sailing Permits); Application for Taxpayer Assistance Order (ATAO); Copies of Tax Returns & Transcripts (Verifiable extreme hardships only; such as victims of Hurricanes, medical emergencies, etc.); Help with preparing Form 2290 (Heavy Vehicle Use Tax); Multilingual Assistance (over 150 languages translated); Federal Tax Return Preparation (If you qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit or your Income is less than $40,000.00); Payments/Payment Arrangements; Procedural Inquiries; Solutions to Tax Issues; Tax Forms (based on availability); Tax Law Assistance (answers related to your individual Federal Tax Return); Taxpayer Identification Numbers.
AARP tax preparation volunteers will provide assistancein filing your tax returns. Service is available to all ages but priority is given to adults age 60 and older.

Offers low- to moderate-income households free tax preparation assistance with federal and state returns. Tax preparation provided by AARP.
Volunteers will assist in preparing Federal and State Income Tax returns through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. We have volunteers trained in basic, advanced, HAS, retirement, etc. The only returns we cannot process are cancellation of debt and farm income. Taxpayers must have a valid photo I.D. and social security card for themselves, spouses and dependents. For joint returns, both spouses must be present to sign required forms. All returns are electronically filed.
Responsible for collecting income tax from individuals, partnerships, corporations, and any other entity having income that is taxable by the City of Ontario.
