Description

Provide senior adults with daily recreational activities, educational events, lunch, socialization, and fitness programs. Supportive services division for Trumbull’s retired and elderly population provides social work and counseling, prescription assistance and Medicaid/Medicare counsel, emergency assistance program, and free income tax assistance through AARP during the months of February through April each year. Supportive services division for Trumbull’s retired and elderly population provides social work and counseling, a traveling food pantry and grocery deliveries to homebound seniors, prescription assistance and Medicaid/Medicare counsel, emergency assistance program, and free income tax assistance through AARP during the months of February through April each year. Operate six senior centers throughout Trumbull County in Cortland, Hartville, Howland, Newton Falls, Niles, and Warren.
