Can also assist if there is thought to be a problem with a tax bill, or if an individual or company wishes to pay their bill. Will answer questions on the preparation of city taxes.

Administers and enforces tax laws and regulates statutes established by the City of Cuyahoga Falls. All City of Cuyahoga Falls tax payments and tax forms, for current and prior tax years, are to be sent to Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA). Residents are encouraged to utilize RITA’s electronic filing and payment system.

Responsible for the collection of Real Estate Taxes on all properties in Summit County. Real estate tax bills are mailed semiannually. The most noted and largest dollar amounts collected come from real estate and personal property taxes. Other taxes collected are mobile home taxes, hotel-motel, and special assessments. Offers a monthly tax installment payment plan (T.I.P.) option for homeowners with financial difficulties.

Offers assistance to taxpayers who have fallen behind on the payment of real estate taxes, allowing residential taxpayers, mobile home owners and business owners to keep their property without the worry of foreclosure, providing they meet the required payment schedule. Under the program, participants will establish a monthly payment plan to fit their needs. After participants have committed to the payment plan, all delinquent balances will become frozen in a special payment account where no further interest will be assessed against their delinquent balance.

Enforces tax laws and regulates statutes established by the City of Munroe Falls. Central Collection Agency administers and collects the city income tax for the City of Munroe Falls.

Responsible for assuring that taxpayers, organizations of taxpayers and organizations which serve taxpayers receive the most current information regarding their tax obligations and rights. Duties include informing the public of its rights and responsibilities, communicating requirements of the law to the public, assisting taxpayers in complying with laws and regulations and taking necessary enforcement actions. Provided services include account inquiries; adjustments; alien clearances; applications for Taxpayer Assistance Order; basic tax law assistance (January 2-April 15); check, money order, or cash payment assistance; help with preparing Form 2290; individual taxpyer identification numbers and Form W-7; payment arrangements; procedural inquiries; solutions to tax issues; and tax forms (based on availability). Also provides a Facilitated Self Assistance (FSA), a self-assistance computer kiosk with an IRS employee available to assist individuals with navigating the IRS.gov website.

Offers a monthly payment plan to property owners in Montgomery County, who are delinquent in paying property taxes.

Collects delinquent property taxes from Grant County residents. Initiates civil litigation in cases where taxpayers ignore or refuse to pay their delinquent tax bill.
