Each of the Apple Grove buildings has five one-bedroom apartments with a kitchen, bath, and living room/dining room combination. On-site community building provides an indoor recreation area, and ample outdoor space is also available for recreational programs. Community support services are provided to individuals by The Counseling Center.

Housing Program helps low-income individuals and families lease one of our low-cost houses or apartments in an effort to gain control of their economic resources and decision making, so they can maintain family and financial stability. Individuals are provided with an array of integrated services including budget surveys, job search assistance, and collaborative efforts with various community agencies. This program is designed to be flexible and offer the services and support, as needed, in an effort to help individuals gain self-sufficiency. Goodwill also owns and maintains several accessible apartments in Marion. The one and two bedroom units are designed for persons with physical disabilities by providing lowered sinks and countertops, accessible appliances, easy roll-in showers and accessible parking.

Eligible tenants selected from the waiting list pay approximately 30% of adjusted gross family income in rent and utilites, and the subsidy makes up the balance of market rent. The subsidy moves with the tenant, and it can be used in any unit in the private market which passes a GMHA Housing Quality Standards inspection, as long as the tenant remains eligible. No assistance is provided with paying a rental deposit through this program.
