Turning Point provides up-to-date programming regarding healthy relationships and dating violence to local students, staff, parents and community members. Presentations have been developed in compliance with House Bill 19 which requires dating violence education in middle and high school health classes and education regarding the issue to teachers, administrators, counselors, nurses and psychologists.

Participants will learn how much they can afford, become familiar with mortgage terms, see the importance of home inspections, and understand what happens at closing. The Winter Reconnect Order issued each year by the Public Utility Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has a new name. It is now the Special Reconnect Order (SRO). The SRO may be used once per utility (electric and natural gas) from Oct 13, 2025 through April 15, 2026 to reconnect or to avoid disconnection of investor-owned, PUCO-regulated utilities. The SRO allows customers to pay only $175, plus up to $36 for a reconnection fee (if applicable), of what they owe. Any remaining balance is put into a payment arrangement. There are no income restrictions, and the Order may also be used to establish or transfer service. If the SRO is used for both electric and natural gas at the same time, the $175 may be split between the two.

Services include: Linkage to HIV testing (confidential, but not anonymous) and pre/post-test counseling. Offers counseling for those who have been newly diagnosed. Also provides HIV support groups as well as "Peer Navigation". This program links people who are newly diagnosed or need a little extra support to manage living with HIV with experienced people who have had HIV a long time and are doing well.

Offers a day camp for children and teens ages 6 to 15 who have experienced the death of a loved one. Provides a safe place for campers to share their grief, find support, and strengthen their coping skills while building new friendships and having fun. Activities are facilitated by licensed professionals and volunteers.

Provides public insurance to cover medical services that may include doctor visits, some prescription drugs, hospital care, home care, long-term care, medical equipment, transportation, mental health, vision, dental, substance abuse services and other services. Most clients will have to choose and enroll in (will have their care provided by) a Managed Care Plan (MCP). When it is time to renew, enrollees will receive a packet, including information regarding Medicaid status and forms for re-certifying coverage.

Provides information to help tenants fulfill their responsibilities when dealing with landlords who are not providing what was promised under the terms of rental leases. Provides a kit that contains strips that can test for the presence of fentanyl or xylazine in an opiate, naloxone, a prescribed nasal inhalant that reverses an opioid overdose. Kit includes 2 vials of medication, 2 nasal attachements, an instructional DVD, and a small tip sheet on how to recognize an overdose. Will receive instruction on how to recognize and respond to an overdose (as well as distinguish between different types of overdose) and how to administer intranasal Naloxone to reverse the opioid overdose.
