Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is an evidence-based practice that helps people with serious mental illness or co-occurring substance use disorders work in competitive jobs related to their preferences. OOD assists eligible individuals with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining competitive jobs related to each person’s unique strengths, priorities, abilities, experiences, and interests. Individuals served through IPS benefit from the collaborative efforts of mental health agencies and OOD. Services include: Assessment, Career Planning and Counseling, Apprenticeships and Work Experience, Assistive Technologies and Devices, On-the-Job Support, Career Exploration, Skill Development and Training, Job Placement Services, and Workplace Accommodations.

The Troy Senior Citizen Center is a Troy United Way Agency, dedicated to providing education, socialization, activities and self-enrichment for our members and other area senior citizens. The Center offers travel opportunities, parties with entertainment, specialty speakers, regular health screenings, and community volunteer opportunities.
