Informs landlords and renters of their rights and responsibilities under the Ohio Landlord-Tenant Law. Provides information to help tenants fulfill their responsibilities when dealing with landlords who are not providing what was promised under the terms of rental leases.

This seminar deals with the impact of divorce upon children and adults. Typical responses to divorce by children of various ages discussed as well as ways for parents to help their children adjust to the changed family. The Homeless Prevention Program assists families or individuals at risk for homelessness. Eligible families or individuals are doubled up and/or have no other housing options identified, and who meet income guidelines.

Evaluates cases, whether filing or having been served with divorce papers if hearing date is more than 14 days away in cases where one of the following is true: an incident of abuse toward applicant or minor child occurred within the last 30 days, or abuser has threatened to kill or physically harm applicant or commit suicide within the last 60 days coupled with physical violence in the past year; abuser subject to charges or protection order for offense of violence within the past 60 days or a Civil Protection Order (CPO) has been issued against abuser; abuser incarcerated for offense of violence and has made new threats of abuse to applicant and incarceration will end in less than 12 months; cases where relationship does not involve abuse, the parties do not have minor children, there are no joint assets or debts and the parties have been living separate and apart for at least one year.

Provides conflict dispute resolution to address neighborhood and community conflicts, offering a way for residents to resolve disputes privately and constructively at no cost to the parties. Types of conflicts addressed include: Neighbor-to-Neighbor Disputes (noise complaints, pet-related issues, property line disagreements). Homeowners' Association (HOA) Disagreements (conflicts within homeowners' associations, including issues related to community rules, shared spaces, and homeowner compliance). Roommate Conflicts (disputes between roommates over shared responsibilities, noise, cleanliness, or other living arrangement concerns) School and Parent/Student Conflicts (conflicts between parents, students, and educational institutions, including issues related to discipline, academic expectations, or school policies).

Computer classes cover Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Creative Cloud programs, and others such as Drive and Outlook classes. Classes for beginners include Windows 10 and Digital Literacy Basics (including for tablets and smartphones). Also offers classes for advance users, such as Google Drive and PowerPoint.

Provides a peer-to-peer educational program that deals with issues of healthy dating relationships and awareness of bullying. Program can also train volunteer students to become peer leaders in their schools who can deliver the curriculum to their student body. Students develop an understanding of unhealthy behaviors that can lead to toxic or abusive relationships and are instructed on healthy actions they can take as well as how to support friends who may be victims. The presentation can be used for groups of any size and can be used for training of peer mediators, parents, or school personnel. Meets state of Ohio requirements to provide teen dating violence prevention.
