Provides transportation services for Medicaid recipients for non-emergency medical transportation for miles traveled to a Medicaid covered service when the managed care plan provider cannot provide service.

Handles complaints and investigates issues dealing with suspected Medicaid fraud by providers and possible neglect or abuse of residents of long term care facilities in Ohio. Will prosecute if criminal action is found. Complaints addressed include, but not limited to, suspected Medicaid fraud by providers (billing for services not performed, over billing, kickbacks etc.) and possible neglect or abuse of residents of a long term care facility (such as nursing homes, group homes, MR/DD facilities, and hospital long term care units). Does not represent the person making the complaint as a private attorney would.

Provides assistance searching for and connecting with suitable employers for eligible individuals.

RossGo is a program which operates under Chillicothe Transit System that provides transportation to and from Medicaid-billable appointments, such as primary care visits, dentists, eye doctors, and substance use disorder treatment.

Provides a 24-hour nurse advice line staffed by a registered nurse as part of Medicaid and Medicare/Medicaid managed health care plans in Ohio through a contract with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

Provides financial rewards for keeping prenatal and well baby appointments. Rewards may include gift cards and portable baby furniture.

Offer credentialing opportunities, with curriculum partner New Collar Network, in 3D printing technologies to students in an 18-week experience in preparation for the workforce. Family Support Specialist collaborates with community organizations throughout the Mahoning Valley to assist young women and their families before, during and after pregnancy with food, transportation, clothing, diapers, medical appointment scheduling/follow up, essential needs and employment.

Accepts allegations of fraud, waste, mismanagement or abuse concerning programs of the department. Programs include Medicare, Medicaid, Head Start, Services for Native Americans, health care equipment providers, institutional health caregivers, and grant and contracts. Also accepts reports of suspected crimes by federal department employees or contractors.
