Provides gas vouchers, rides, or bus fare for recipients who have reached their ride limit through their Medicaid HMO.
Handles complaints and investigates issues dealing with suspected Medicaid fraud by providers and possible neglect or abuse of residents of long term care facilities in Ohio. Will prosecute if criminal action is found. Complaints addressed include, but not limited to, suspected Medicaid fraud by providers (billing for services not performed, over billing, kickbacks etc.) and possible neglect or abuse of residents of a long term care facility (such as nursing homes, group homes, MR/DD facilities, and hospital long term care units). Does not represent the person making the complaint as a private attorney would.
Provides transportation to non medical services. Members may access up to 15 round trip or 30 one-way trips (less than 30 miles from the member’s home) including trips to the grocery store, food pantries, WIC and SNAP appointments, County Dept. of Job and Family Services redeterminations, childbirth classes, and more.

Participants may receive one-on-one counseling, educational materials, referral to a telephone quitline and stop-smoking aids such as nicotine replacement in the form of gum, the patch, nasal spray, lozenge, inhaler, Varenicline, and Bupropion.
