May also include Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, carpentry, installing appliances, installing and replacing doors, roof repair, exterior painting, flooring/tiling, trash removal, windows and other yard work.

State discount card is automatically available from the State of Ohio to those over the age of 60 or permanently disabled. USS cannot issue a new Buckeye card but can assist with replacing a lost or stolen card.

Administers home and community-based supports for older adults and those with disabilities. Programs include but are not limited to: PASSPORT, Assisted living Medicaid waivers, long term care consultations, caregiver support services, regional long term care ombudsman, home repair, healthy lifestyles and wellness programs, aging and disability resource center, Medicare Part D enrollment assistance. Additional services may include: legal assistance, case management, transportation, personal care, housekeeping, adult day care, home delivered meals, emergency response systems, and other community resources.

Recruits and coordinates the placement of volunteers who are 55 or older into various organizations around Ohio.
