Programs include the following: - Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI): Medicaid for parents, caretaker relatives, pregnant women, newborns, children, extension adults, transitional Medicaid, and possible dual eligibility with Aged Blind and Disabled Medicaid and Medicare recipients. - Aged Blind and Disabled (ABD): Categorically Needy. Medicaid for 65 and older. Meets Social Security Administration (SSA) definition of blind or disabled. - MPAP: QMB, SLMB, QI-1, QWDI: Medicare Premium Assistance for those in receipt of Medicare. - MBIWD: Medicaid for individuals between ages of 16 and 64 who meet the SSA definition of blind and disabled and are working. Possible premium required. - SRS: Medicaid for those age 21 and over who are receiving SSI or SSDI, meet SRS diagnosis, and are in receipt of another Medicaid category. - Non-Citizen Emergency Medicaid Assistance (NCEMA): Apply at any time. Requires state approval to receive Medicaid eligibility and span. - LTC and Waiver Services: Medicaid for individuals in nursing facilities, assisted living, or home care.

Offers a tax reduction program which provides Medina County homeowners with relief on a portion of their home value. With homestead, eligible homeowners receive an exemption on a portion of appraised value from taxation for a single family home. Eligible military Veterans receive an additional exemption. Will answer questions and assist with completing forms regarding the reduction.

Individuals 60 and over may qualify for the assistance of a payee to help with paying bills and budgeting if this will help the individual stay in their own home.

Assists older adults with minor home repairs to ensure that homes are safe and secure. Services may include: minor plumbing, electric, gas and furnace repairs, smoke alarms, handrails and grab bars in the bathroom. Also can provide and install ramps for wheelchair bound (no scooters) older adults.
