Aging And Disability Resource Center (ADRC) | Medina County Senior And Adult Services

Provides one-on-one information and assistance to aging adults and individuals with disabilities to help them identify their needs and preferences, and access community resources, benefit programs and other available social, medical and residential services. Also helps ensure that individuals and their caregivers are aware of the various living options, care options, insurance options, and supportive services available to them.

Provides low-income older adults with a $50 benefit with which to purchase eligibile, locally grown produce at participating farmer's markets and roadside stands. Eligible food items include fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, and honey. * Federally funded program administered by the United States Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition Services Agency, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Aging.

Helps individuals find help for housing, transportation, in-home care, long-term care and other health and wellness services. Offers an internet-based, counselor assisted program that helps older adults and individuals with disabilities file for public benefits. Includes Healthy Start and Healthy Families, Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), child care subsidies, food stamps, voter registration and more. Provides benefit navigation, assistance with Social Security and Medicaid applications, and Social Security benefit analysis.
