Offers a tax reduction program which provides Medina County homeowners with relief on a portion of their home value. With homestead, eligible homeowners receive an exemption on a portion of appraised value from taxation for a single family home. Eligible military Veterans receive an additional exemption. This program is designed to help people age 60 or better, with low income living in Clark county meet one time expenses such as a utility shut off notice or an unanticipated critical expense. Staff also assist with accessing HEAP, and other similar programs. In-home assistance is available for those without means to come into the office.
