A cooperative effort of community systems that assists the homeless and near homeless in obtaining housing, economic stability, and an enhanced quality of life through comprehensive services. Does not provide direct services but rather refers to local agencies for assistance.

For information calls only when client requests Bethany House's phone number/address. If making a shelter referral, do so at Strategies to End Homelessness. Provides community emergency shelter for families in addition to other supportive services. All intake for shelter is handled through the Central Access Point (CAP) hotline which is operated by Strategies to End Homelessness.

Works to coordinate planning to address the problem of homelessness, and studies proposed solutions, including recommendations of outreach workers and the homeless themselves. Available to make presentations to community groups regarding homelessness, often with a homeless or formerly homeless person participating in the presentation. Hosts regular meetings with homeless people to inform advocacy position. Publishes regular updates on public policy issues.

Provides a 17-member board that is the governing body of the Toledo Lucas County Continuum of Care; the programs and services are part of the Toledo Lucas County Continuum of Care to Address and End Homelessness in the community. the board represents local organizations from the public and business sectors, faith-based organizations, funders, and TAAEH; the board is responsible for accurately reporting on the nature and extent of homelessness.
Works to eliminate homelessness and improve housing options through the implementation of a comprehensive continuum of care. Conducts a Point-in-Time Count to count all individuals and families who are currently homeless is Summit County.
Advocacy, Street Speech and Education Committees available to anyone who wishes to work on improving conditions for homeless persons in Columbus and educating the community about homelessness. Each committee meets once per month to address specific goals.

Host monthly peer support groups within a safe-space center, provide events, trainings, and services for the LGBTQIA+ community, offer LGBTQIA+ inclusive training for area organizations and businesses.

Supports measures that address the needs of people who are, or are at risk of becoming, homeless including the need for shelter, transitional housing, permanent housing, medical care, and basic human rights. Organizes and empowers homeless and at-risk men, women, and children to break the cycle of poverty through public education, advocacy, and the creation of nurturing environments.
Information on homelessness and homeless issues in Ohio. Assists housing organizations and homeless service providers in Ohio through advocacy, training and technical assistance, research and public education. Offer guidance on a variety of housing issues: landlord-tenant law, the Fair Housing Act, tenant organization and affordable housing preservation.

Discussion regarding gaps in community services for homeless individuals and determines needed supportive services. Promotes sharing of resources and information among service providers, and with individuals who are homeless. Advocates for the homeless population. Provides community-wide educational programs on homelessness. Holds various meetings and fundraising functions throughout the year to promote awareness and advocacy. Presentation of new and existing programs; Updates of system changes; announcements of funding opportunity.
Coordinates and provides supportive services to help young people who are facing housing instability and homelessness find or maintain stable housing. Also provides information and referral for employment assistance, mentoring, financial capability, and emergency financial assistance. The program is offered through peer Youth Navigators who use their personal experiences and knowledge of systems to support youth in accessing a variety of resources on their paths to stability.
