Offers free peer support to anyone motivated to recover from an eating disorder. Mentees receive weekly one-on-one support online for a period of six months from a mentor that has recovered from an eating disorder.

They use their recovery stories to help others in similar situations by providing support, encouragement, hope and resources. Our ProBono Counseling program provides short-term counseling to individuals who are uninsured or under insured, free of charge. MHA provides the 40 hour training for individuals interested in pursuing a career in peer support. Our trainings are approved for certification in both Ohio and Kentucky.

A texting service dedicated to providing assistance for persons emotionally affected by natural or man-made disasters. Callers receive emotional support and crisis counseling for mental/behavioral health concerns that may have arisen in the aftermath of disaster, such as the Coronavirus pandemic as well as information and referrals pertaining to specific resources that pop up in the days, weeks, and months following such events.

Provides support to an individual from an individual with shared life experiences from mental illness and/or addiction. The peer supporter has received training, passed a competency exam and continue education to be able to continue to provide support and be a proactive role model.

Provides individual and/or group peer support meetings focusing on kicking addiction, anger management, self-worth, yoga, as well as socialization activities such as art therapy, bingo, or card games for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder.
