Prevention program designed to reduce risk factors and enhance protective factors related to alcohol, tobacco and drugs as well as getting along peacefully with others. Five classroom lessons cover goal setting, decision making, communicating, bonding and managing emotions. Students also participate in a community service project. The program runs from September to June.

An anonymous 24-hour helpline for reporting situations where individuals may hurt themselves or others before it occurs. Accepts calls regarding potential violence, theft, drug or alcohol use, sexual harassment, weapons, bullying and so forth. Reports are forwarded to the appropriate individuals at the City of Hudson government or Hudson City Schools. Provides suicide prevention and mental health counseling by trained counselors. Offered through a partnership with the City of Hudson, Hudson City School District and Hudson Community First as well as a contract with Security Voice, Safe Schools Helpline.
