COVID-19 Temporary Message: Signature Health is continuing to offer all services. There are doctors, counselors, case managers, and supervisors on site every day. Hours of operation are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Telehealth will be used as much as possible. Individual counseling is provided via telehealth for those who have the capability. Patients who walk in can use a SH tablet to talk with their counselor. If absolutely necessary they will be seen in person. Case managers are available remotely and a Walk-In Case Manager is on site every day. New assessments are being conducted by phone or via telehealth (secure video). Anyone who enters the building will have their temperature taken. If someone brings a patient/client they will be asked to wait outside.

The Avondale Youth Center (AYC) is a co-ed, residential therapeutic center with a twenty-two bed capacity. The facility provides a comprehensive therapeutic intervention program to youth who have been abused/neglected or abandoned. These youth often times have been diagnosed with mental health disorders, emotional problems, and authority issues. Adolescents must be between the ages of ten and eighteen and reside in Muskingum County. Youth are placed at AYC when the need has been indicated for a highly structured, therapeutic living situation. The goal of the AYC comprehensive array of services is to design an individualized therapeutic intervention program, stabilize the child, and ultimately return the child to a stable home environment.

Youth Residential is an all male faiclity that serves Ohio youth ages 12-18 in need of comprehensive mental health services in a staff secured and safe environment. Residential Services serves males and offers individualized intensive community-based programming emphasizing a pro-social point/phase system helping youth achieve skill development at their own pace. Youth assist in developing his/her own Individual Service Plan that addresses mental health and personal care needs. Each youth is offered daily goals groups, milieu therapy groups, and individualized groups that meet specific needs. Individual, family, group therapy and pharmacotherapy services are offered weekly as well as Community Support Services to provide specialized linkage treatment needs. Youths attend public school and are offered assistance with their academic needs by certified teachers.
