Support and resource sharing group for parents and caregivers of a child with needs in areas such as mental health, developmental disabilities, juvenile justice, school, child protection, health, etc. Community Voices members offer support to one another and share information about resources that might benefit children and families. Community Voices members are empowered to educate policy makers and service providers about how to work more effectively with families and provide their insight on the impact of policies, resources, services, activities, etc. on children and families.
Provides information about transportation options for older adults and how to assess the safety of care receiver driving abilities.
Offers support for individuals caring for eligible veterans with a serious illness or disability. Helps with obtaining caregiver assistance available through the VA and connecting with other local resources and programs. Eligible caregivers may qualify for skills training, peer support mentoring, and one-on-one and group coaching.
Provides information, guidance, and assistance in a one-on-one setting to family members and other volunteer caregivers. Offers referrals, educational materials, resources, and caregiving instruction.
