Provides opportunities for people to volunteer their time and work for nominal wages on projects whose objective is to help developing countries make improvements in the areas of agricultural/rural development, health and education. Volunteers serve outside of the U.S. for a period of 2 years.
Licenced social workers provide ongoing in-home needs assessment, care planning, and consultation to help vulnerable seniors maintain their independence through Senior Supportive Services. Assistance is provided for financial management, medical appointments, insurance, transportation, and housing needs, and by linkage to other community services.

Pairs volunteer companions with older adults. Companions provide non-medical services such as socialization and assistance with daily activities, like buying groceries, preparing meals, and cleaning.
Provides training and placement of retired senior volunteers at nonprofit and social service agencies based on their interests.
Foster Grandparent Program has been providing meaningful volunteer services opportunities to men and women age 55 years and older working with both children and youth who are in need. Volunteers are placed in a variety of settings such as schools, Head Start Programs, daycare centers, MR-DD programs, juvenile justice facilities, hospitals and libraries. Every day in the communities we serve, COAD Foster Grandparent Volunteers are the people children in need depend on for love, wisdom and support. Foster Grandparents help children develop the skills, confidence and strength to succeed in life. Foster Grandparents make their neighborhoods and communities stronger by helping children with special and exceptional needs achieve their goals. Volunteers receive a stipend for their service.

A community effort to address issues of generational poverty and children's success in Springfield, Ohio. Primarily focused on the southeast side of Springfield which includes two elementary schools and two middle schools. Springfield Promise Neighborhood builds assets in adults, youth, and in the community. Our summer and after school activities connect youth with mentors and with effective, evidence-based approaches to foster resilience in youth and help them practice the tools to be good people, make good choices, and give back to others. Our family engagement opportunities bring parents together frequently to promote positive parenting and build the skills necessary to be good citizens and neighbors. Our community development activities and multiple partnerships address the need for good nutrition and healthy activity, while providing the neighborhood a safe place to gather in a 1 acre urban community garden.

Provides AmeriCorps members an opportunity to provide community service in Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) schools as tutors, mentors and role models. Goal is to keep Cleveland students in school and on track to graduate. Participants receive a bi-weekly stipend, and at the end of their service receive scholarship funds which can be used only for higher education.
Care Management for individuals over 60 years of age that have physical limitations requiring assistance to maintain independence in their home. During an assessment, care management staff will review any unmet needs to determine if the individual needs support through Home Care Assistance, Meals on Wheels, Medical Transportation, Assistive equipment, Adult Day support, Home modification, Etc.

The Social Support Program is designed to provide consistent support and encouragement for people who are isolated and need assistance of staff and volunteers to socialize with peers and to offer respite for their caregivers. A network of support is offered to those with mobility issues or cognitive challenges with the goal of supporting independence. Referrals are accepted through the local healthcare systems, family or self referrals.
