YMCA swim lessons not only teach swimming but also teach water safety, rescue skills, aquatic and boating safety, as well as water activities to enjoy for a lifetime.

Provides exercise classes for those who have recovered from a stroke or other forms of brain injury. Class are taught by physical therapists or physical therapist assistants and includes stretching, relaxation and isotonic exercises. Also provides an exercise class for those who want to work on their balance and gait (moving on foot).
The Aquatic Therapy and Wellness Center provides a 30 minute one on one aquatic session in a large heated pool. The program is open to all including those who are living with physical limitations, as well as those who have had hip or knee replacement, or dealing with arthritis or back pain.
Participants work with Y staff trained in supportive cancer care to achieve goals such as building muscle mass and strength, increasing flexibility and endurance.
