OCCUPATIONAL AND PHYSICAL THERAPY - LONG-TERM REHABILITATION | CLEVELAND CLINIC CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FOR REHABILITATION
Provides regular, intensive, occupational, and physical therapy to help children increase their functional abilities and to become as independent and successful as possible. Services include play and exercise therapy, aquatic therapy (including time in the pool with the patient for families of patients), electrical stimulation, teaching adaptive techniques, using adaptive equipment, music therapy (where indicated) and recreational therapy (to assist in transitioning back into the home and community).

Phone for an appointment and to refer individuals. A written referral from the child's primary care physician is required.
Fee
Accepts most insurance.Third party payment accepted, including Medicaid, and Medicare. Those who have no health insurance must have household income at or below 400% of federal poverty guidelines to apply for financial help. Those living further than 150 miles from the main site may have other requirements.
Eligibility
Children, aged through 17 years, who have a special medical and/or developmental need, or who have suffered a traumatic injury, requiring long-term rehabilitation.
