Provides financial assistance to help breast cancer patients and their families endure the high costs of breast cancer treatment. Funding amount varies based on breast cancer stage ($500 for earlier stage 0-3 and $750 for stage 4 metastatic breast cancer). Funds may be used on daily living costs including: - Rent and mortgage. - Utilities such as gas, electric, water, and/or phone. - Food or groceries. - Transportation. - Medical needs.

Provides funding to ease everyday financial burdens for individuals actively receiving treatment for cancer who live in Summit County and/or are being treated in Summit County. Requests for funding may include utility bill payment assistance, rent payment assistance, mortgage payment assistance, transportation costs, and so forth. Funding is determined on a case-by-case basis since circumstances are different for each household.

Provides reimbursement for some expenses incurred by Darke County residents who have a confirmed cancer diagnosis. Reimbursement of 25 cents/mile (up to $200) per month may be provided for mileage to and from cancer-related appointments (not including trips to the pharmacy), up to $100/month for prescription expense assistance, and up to $75/month for assistance with the purchase of medical supplies. Program participants are eligible for services up to 5 years unless in active treatment. Does not cover basic living expenses such as rent, mortgages, utility payments or food. Executive Director determines whether mileage is to be reimbursed as it links to the cancer diagnosis.
