Accepted reasons for financial assistance include mortgage assistance, rent assistance, home repairs, utility assistance, auto payments, travel and transportation, moving assistance, essential home items (appliances such as washer, dryer, refrigerator, and stove), medical expense assistance, emergency dental assistance, critical baby items, and other financial assistance. Offers emergency financial assistance for food and vision care (for dependents) to active duty service member with rank of rank E1-E6 with DEERS-eligible dependents.
Note: Does NOT provide financial assistance for credit card debt or personal loans and does NOT assist with down payments for vehicles or homes.
