Provides financial assistance for fully-functional lower limb prosthetics to qualified applicants. Payment is made directly to the supplier, not the client. Also accepts donations of prosthetic parts and distributes them to individuals overseas. Donated items are never resold.
This program assists children with permanent physical and / or developmental disabilities and as funds permit, adults with developmental abilities. Limited funds are available for adults with physical disabilities. The program offers financial assistance with medical costs and equipment not covered by insurance. Examples include orthopedic shoes, braces, wheelchairs, wheelchair ramps, devices to improve mobility and communication, accessibility, scholastic performance, vision or hearing impaired needs, limited medical services and supplies. Also provides financial assistance to summer camps/enrichment for children, teens and young adults with disabilities.

The support group meets in Mercy Memorial Hospital's main floor conference room, 904 Scioto St.,Urbana. Can sometimes help with co-pays and prosthetics related to breast cancer.

Provides new wigs to anyone in need of a wig due to cancer. Also provides additional support to cancer survivors.
Wigs or turbans will be provided, or financial assistance given as supplies and funding are available.
Offers hairpieces for children who are suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Each hairpiece is made from real human hair and arrives long so recipients may style it to fit their faces. The hairpiece forms a vacuum seal, like a suction cup, and does not require the use of tape or glue. Only the wearer of the hairpiece may remove it, by breaking the vacuum seal at the temples.
Maintains a supply of medical equipment for short-term loan. Equipment available for loan varies and includes such items as wheelchairs, canes, walkers, crutches and shower seats.
Support, guidance and comfort to cancer patients and their caregivers. Offers counseling consultation, support and education, resource library, healing/wellneess therapies, nutritional programs, support groups, brand-new wigs and a beauty program.wig bank, and a beauty program.
