MAY NOT BE USED FOR: entertainment furniture (such as a TV or a radio), mortgage payments. YEARLY CASH LIMITS: $1,500 total during the calendar year (may be $750 for certain non-custodial parents).

Money raised from the sale of recyclables is returned to the school.

Agencies that operate as Safe Places display the yellow Safe Place sign. A qualified Safe Place volunteer or agency staff member will arrive to talk with the youth and, if necessary, provide transportation to a qualified safe space location. Youth will not be forced to stay at a shelter, but their parents will be contacted.
