The Reserve at Mt. Gilead are available to older adults who are income eligible. Water, sewer and trash are included. Laundry rooms are available. Call for an appointment, no walk-ins are accepted at this time.

Legal Line provides advice in civil matters, consumer fraud and home repair scams; domestic violence, divorce, and child support; eviction, foreclosure, and other housing problems; health care access; predatory lending; Social Security/SSI; unemployment benefits; and welfare, Medicaid, and food stamps.

Provides comprehensive assessments for mental health and substance abuse. Evaluates the nature and extent of an individual's abuse, misuse, and addiction to alcohol or other drugs. Offers comprehensive psychosocial and psychiatric assessment.

Provides recruiting, training, and licensing of foster and adoptive parents. Foster parents receive ongoing training, support, financial assistance, and health care for the children in their care.

Houses South Central School District students grades 6-8.

Provides day camps for youth ages 6-12 that explore the world around them. Fun activities and games that lead to teamwork skills, leadreships, and friendships.

Responsible for preventing, investigating, controlling and extinguishing fires. Responds to all fires, hazmat, and rescue, and are first responders for EMS calls within the Fire Department's protection district. Activities include fire safety education, firefighting, investigating the causes of suspicious fires, maintaining equipment and trained firefighters necessary for a quick and efficient response to fires when they occur, and enforcing fire codes which protect lives and property from fires and explosions.

Provides public education for youth grades K-12.

The Horses for Hometown Heroes program assists veterans experiencing physical, psychological, cognitive and/or social/emotional challenges as a result of their military service. Sessions are designed to re-introduce veterans to normal, daily life, assist with rebuilding strength and stamina and improving overall quality of life in a structured, positive environment.

Provides mammograms and bone density testing for diagnostic and preventive purposes.

Provides a program to develop reading, writing, and communication skills by balancing academics with physical fitness and regularly scheduled healthy living activiites. Goal is to assist students in passing state reading readiness tests. Capacity at each site is 24 students.

Provides immunizations for adults, children, infants at clinics throughout the agency jurisdiction. Those available include Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), vaccines against Mpox (aka Monkeypox), Pneumococcal vaccine and meningiococcal vaccine, Td/Tdap (Tetanus with Diphtheria and Pertusis), Polio, (for HPV) and HIB, as well as Rabies vaccinations when needed (primarily for those who handle at-risk animals routinely). A few sites also offer Chicken Pox, rotavirus (debilitating diarrhea) and shingles vaccinations (both for the Herpes Zoster virus). This is Yellow fever certified clinic.

Accepts applications and determines eligibility for Social Security survivor benefits, which provides monthly payments to eligible family members of people who worked and paid Social Security taxes before they died.

Provides fresh produce and occasionally other foods.

Manages public wildlife areas where people can hunt and fish.

Provides law enforcement and protection services for Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff. Responsible for enforcing all laws and ordinances, preventing crime, investigating criminal activity, apprehending and arresting suspects, regulating traffic, investigating traffic accidents and engaging in other activities that protect lives, property and preserve peace in the community.

Provides homework help and educational enrichment through volunteer help. May also include different educational enrichment activities, such as crafts or games.

Investigates and responds to consumer complaints and allegations of abuse/neglect of residents in Ohio state licensed hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living and rehabilitation facilities, Ohio Department of Health licensed group homes and unlicensed group homes.

Provides multiple services to help integrate immigrants and refugees into society by assisting them with job search, interview prep, resume writing assistance, and more.

Offers sports, fitness, cultural arts, crafts, entertainment and seasonal programs for community members of all age groups. Many centers feature auditoriums, kitchens, gyms, classroom services and swimming facilities.

Provides transitional living program for young people who are homeless and want to work towards independence.Includes case management, life skills training, and counseling.
