Comprehensive Case Management And Employment Program (CCMEP) | Geauga County Job And Family Services

Provides employment and training services to eligible, low-income individuals based on a comprehensive assessment of employment and training needs, as well as a basic skills assessment. Participants are provided services to support goals outlined in their individual opportunity plan, which may include support to obtain a high school diploma, job placement, work experience, and other supportive services such as rent, child care and transportation. Participants are provided with case management to address barriers to self-sufficiency such as health, addiction/substance abuse issues, housing, education, transportation, etc. Participants are typically offered paid Summer employment.

America'S Heroes At Work | United States Department Of Labor

Program focuses on the employment challenges of returning service members living with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The project equips employers and the workforce development system with the tools they need to help returning service members affected by TBI and/or PTSD succeed in the workplace - particularly service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Offers a variety of educational resources devoted to improving employment-related outcomes for returning service members with TBI and/or PTSD. Materials include fact sheets, Web-based training tools, educational presentations and more - all designed for employers, workforce development professionals, service branches, key military support systems, veterans' service organizations and One-Stop Career Centers.

Prevention, Retention And Contingency (PRC) - Employment Incentive Program (EIP) | Portage County Department Of Job And Family Services

- Provides employment case management for six (6) months to eligible individuals. - Enrolled individuals will receive $500 within 30 days of verifying employment, $500 at 90 days and $500 at conclusion of program at 180 days. - Required to meet in person monthly with case manager for incentive payments. Supportive Service provided once enrolled may include: - Savings match for purchase of a vehicle (match amount up to $3,800). - Car repairs (up to $1,000). - Car payments toward a vehicle loan ($500 max per payment, limited to two payments). - Driver's license reinstatement fees (up to $500).
