Evaluates cases related to removing barriers to employment such as: - Sealing criminal records or application for a Certificate of Qualification for Employment (CQE) when applicable; - Sealing and expungement of Juvenile records; - Resolving credit report problems that interfere with employment; - Owed money from an employer (including minimum wage, overtime, and vacation pay); - Obtaining identification for employment purposes, including driver’s license reinstatement; - Obtaining or maintaining licenses/certifications; - Employment discrimination which has occurred within the last 12 months;

Agency staff answer legal questions regarding employment and unemployment benefits offered by state and federal governments during the COVID 19 outbreak, laws regarding compensation, additional benefits available due to the pandemic, and rights on the job. Callers who need legal assistance may be referred to the organization's intake line.

Offers a fully equipped Resource Room including 30 internet-connected computers with a range of software, from word-processing to resume builder programs to typing tutors to career exploration. Offers free access to telephones, a printer, fax machines, TV VCR and copy machine (available to make copies of resumes and to fax resumes to employers). Willing to look at themselves and find what they can offer to their employer. 3E Program (Encourage, Empower, Engage) will help employees: * Connect to community resources, including training/education, budget/money management, transportation, housing, and medical RX assistance. * Understand the work environment, including how to defuse conflict, and problem solving. * Participate in asset and mind mapping, a way to solve problems, overcome barriers, and grow into stability. * Gain awareness of company culture and support. The 3E Project will help to: * Recognize and utilize assets. * Build a personal action plan. * Meet people who are committed to plan and willing to work client. * Learn how to manage time, money and resources. * Connect with a variety of resources to help you achieve success. For employers: 3E Project will assist in developing and retaining strong employees with valued skills, thus increasing productivity and decreasing employee turnover. Outcomes include reduced absenteeism, reduced tardiness, reduced turnover costs, enhanced soft skills (training), and improved employee money management. 3E case manager will visit participating employers weekly to meet with workers at their worksite.

Does not provide direct services for individuals, but does offer membership for persons interested in supporting workers rights.
