Additionally, the program may also provide time-limited payments to third parties (ex. landlords, utility companies, moving companies and licensed child care providers) if these payments help veteran families stay in or acquire permanent housing on a sustainable basis.

Participants will be able to gain practical, up-to-date information about mental health conditions, including PTSD, depression and substance abuse; learn about the latest treatment, options; discover problem solving techniques, coping strategies and communication skills; and find community support in a confidential setting.

Also provides official State of Ohio Veterans ID card that proves that the veteran has honorable discharge papers filed with the county. Veterans may also use the card for discounts with area businesses.
