Provides resource services to individuals and their families, who are hard of hearing or deaf. The Center provides information on deafness to business organizations; provide consultation and workshop services. Advocacy and Case Management are also provided.

Provides a specialized curriculum for hearing impaired/deaf children. Services include audiologic assessment, speech and language therapy, physical and occupational therapy, and psychological services.

Provides a variety of services to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and their families which enhances integration in to their local communities. The services include: advocacy, support services, case management, interpreting services, captioning services, information and referral, public awareness programs, sign choir, and sign language classes for families and community. Individuals and their families may be referred to deaf services by any community agency or individual, or may contact deaf services themselves.

Provides a job readiness program for those who are deaf and/or hard of hearing. Program occurs in 3 stages in which the client will learn basic skills to obtain a job and retain said job. Will learn resume writing as well as interview skills and the final stage can lead to job placement.

Programs include classes in American Sign Language basics, films celebrating Deaf culture, and regular opportunities to socialize and discuss Deafness and hard of hearing issues. Also offers Camps for deaf kids and teens, KODA (kids of deaf adults) camps, DeafEND (drug and alcohol prevention) In-service trainings, C-Print Captioning, consultation and instruction for families needing to learn sign language/communication skills. Other services available upon request.

Provides vocational support services in a variety of ways. For those enrolled in OOD, DCRC can offer skills training to help get a job or a better job. Consumers can learn how to write an effective resume, fill out applications, and practice interview skills. DCRC will advocate for support services and teach consumers to advocate for their needs.
