Provides services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Clark and surrounding counties. Services include: assistance to deaf individuals who need help understanding and managing tasks that require English, such as bills, letters and phone calls, working with bureaucratic entities such as HUD and OJS, and appointments (e.g. with a doctor); basic adult education groups to improve daily living skills such as managing money, health equity, navigating transportation, and making effective use of technology; vocational assistance to those who would like help finding employment; social events to communicate with one another prevent isolation; and workshops open to deaf and hard of hearing and family and friends on issues of importance to the deaf community.

DCRC provides vocational support services in a variety of ways. For those enrolled in OOD, DCRC can provide skills training to help get a job or a better job. Consumers can learn how to write an effective resume, fill out applications, and practice interview skills. DCRC will advocate for support services and teach consumers to advocate for their needs. Once the consumer has a job, DCRC can provide on-the-job support through the training and orientation period. DCRC also has general educational workshops related to vocational development open to all.

Coordinates a collaboration of Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center and Help Me Grow, which works to ensure that families of deaf and hard of hearing children receive the specialized support they need. Provides each family with the ongoing support of a certified outreach specialist who provides complete, impartial information on the condition as well as on the many options for communication and therapy, as well as information on the Deaf Community. Provides links to speech and language therapy, school programs, and community resources.

Provide emotional and practical support for those dealing with opioid addiction. Services include referral to treatment to clinicians providing medicine based assistance (MAT) along with psychological treatment geared to opioid use disorder. Maintenance support such as transportation to treatment, opportunities for deaf to deaf support. facilitate services through OOD to provide employment, education for the deaf community to help them recognize the dangers of opioids and seek assistance.

Provides a two-part class for new hearing aid users, aimed at improving their quality of life. Teaches clients how to use their hearing aids properly, with listening strategies so that communicating becomes easier and less frustrating.
Provides resource services to individuals and their families, who are hard of hearing or deaf. The Center provides information on deafness to business organizations; provide consultation and workshop services. Advocacy and Case Management are also provided.
DeafEND is our school-based prevention education program that serves Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing and hearing youth; teaching risks of ATOD use. Camping and leadership programs are also provided to support Deaf and KODA (Kids of Deaf Adults) kids. KODA Camp is sponsored each summer for youth growing up with Deaf parents/family members.
