Services include referral to treatment to clinicians providing medicine based assistance (MAT) along with psychological treatment geared to opioid use disorder. Deafend | Family Service Association

DeafEND is a Deaf and Hard of Hearing program focused on teaching children how to live a substance free healthy life. DeafEND provides in school substance abuse prevention education to Deaf and Hard of Hearing children. DeafEND runs a free summer camp every year for Kids of Deaf Adults (KODA). DeafEND provides leadership and healthy living education to teenage adolescents who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing to promote their overall wellbeing.

Early Intervention Hearing Services | Family Child Learning Center

Provides an early intervention program for infants and toddlers with hearing loss and their families. Services provided virtually (via cell phone, tablet or computer). If the family doesn't have a computer, the center will work with the county's Early Intervention team to bring what is needed to the home. Helps families: - Navigate a new diagnosis of hearing loss and working together to identifying strengths to help communication skills. - Understand their child's hearing loss and new hearing technology. - Learn strategies to keep hearing aids and cochlear implants on little ears. - Learn ways to support their child in developing communication skills and ways to encourage their child to be aware and understand sounds, gestures, or sign language. - Learn how to use daily routines to be the best hearing experience. - Collaborate with other therapies and programs. - Transition to preschool.
