Yellow Cab to transport patients to and from cancer therapy and cancer-related medical appointments. This service receives no government funding. Therefore, the Clinic requires that cancer patients apply for additional transportation assistance (Medicaid, Senior Options). Government funds must pay first. However, the Clinic will continue to provide limited transportation service only until the patient is picked up by another resource, or will continue service if the patient is not eligible for another resource (under 60 for FCSO referral).

Health Insurance Claims Assistance for Beneficiaries
Offers support group for caregivers of loved ones who are experiencing Alzheimer's Disease or dementia.
Offers a support group for adults with cancer to receive support, education, and answer questions about the disease.
Classes are offered for children 6 to11 years old with asthma and their parents. Provide help to better manage asthma. Participants learn about triggers, warning signs and treatment of asthma by interacting through fun activities.
Provides skilled home nursing, home health aides (to assist with grooming, ambulation, personal care, and bathing), in-home physical, occupational, or speech therapy, and in-home respite care for eligible adults in need of these services. Also provides homemaker assistance (meal preparation, laundry and general household management including light housekeeping.) Services also include personal care and homemaking for adults with HIV/AIDS.

Provides a wide range of weekly or monthly support groups for those with health conditions or social desparity, and their families and/or caregivers. Support groups offered include: a variety of cancers, brain injuries, obesity, heart disease, stroke (adult and older adult groups), idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), and hydrocephalus. Also offers social support for those in bereavement.

Provides information and referral services to people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families by connecting them with programs that help pay for the cost of treatments, co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and other living expenses. Helps clients compare available insurance plans so that they can make an informed decision when choosing a plan that maximizes coverage and reimbursement. Helps clients investigate adverse network, drug, and therapy coverage decisions, and provides guidance on appeals process. Helps connect clients with legal experts to navigate the Social Security application process and apply for Supplemental Security Income and Social Security Disability Insurance benefits. Direct assistance with unemployment applications is not provided. Callers will receive assistance with general unemployment questions and will be referred to employment and work accommodations experts and the callers' local unemployment office.

Our medical providers offer Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) services to patients to reduce the likelihood of contracting HIV. Our providers are also trained in providing Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) an emergency-based treatment for the prevention of HIV after possible exposure has occurred. The Central Ohio Diabetes Association provides diabetes education, management plans and a diabetes camp for youth.
Provides classes for people impacted by diabetes. Provides a general overview as well as nutrition and diet or group instruction on diabetes management and blood sugar testing. Free equipment available most of the time.
Offers a free week-long day camp for children affected by cancer. Activities include crafts, outdoor play, and other therapeutic activities.
