Prospective board members receive training on the roles and responsibilities of serving on a board. In addition, the Agency offers Board consulting and training services.

State Support Team, Region 8 supports districts, community schools, and families in Summit, Medina and Portage counties.

Workshops can also be customized. Provides accessibility evaluations of facilities and programs to ensure compliance with the ADA. Offers training on how to handle TTY calls promptly and effectively.

Offers experienced HR professionals to assist employers with job matching, pre-screening, recruitment, job expos and training services. Also helps guide employers through the tax and wage incentive application process for the programs that fit their needs.
